İt's just your opinion but there are a lot witnesses who claim that Azan started at the same time when police stopped masses.
Couple journalists wrote articles about that.

I saw the video myself but forget about this one particular case. May be I’m wrong or may be not, the bigger point of my that post was something else.

Hopefully audience will read it full. Anyways, good day

.

I am not a fan of feminists or liberals, however I watched the original video of the protest and there is no evidence that they were trying to "protest against the ezan". The level of retardation that these Islamists posses is beyond belief. If there was no police there they would probably start beheading those women.

We need massive joint military and police action against all Islamic Radicals and extreme Liberals. Both these groups cause nothing but division.
Ha... la..

You can not do anything.

I know its not my place to talk but just wanted to say few things bc of my familiarity with Turkey via one family connection and also a similar thing happened in Pakistan as well.

Firstly, about the Turkish video---I saw a longer video where it showed right before the call to prayer started. In that video, the crowd was relatively calm (normal crowd noise, but nothing unusual). However, as soon as Azaan (Pakistani pronunciation of Ezan) came on---slowly the feminist/liberal/secular crowd started getting louder and louder---soon after cheering started, waving the LGBT flag, dancing, horns, and etc etc (we all saw it)

It was a clear disrespect to Azaan on purpose (in "defiance" or "rebellion" against Turkish traditional/ancestral religion of Islam). These feminists/liberals destroyed western values and traditions....and now they are slowly seeping into Muslim world. Sh*t like this happened in Pakistan too (where these secular feminist "women marchers" posted disrespectful signs and placards against Islam and our traditions instead of talking about women issues like domestic violence, financial security, women education etc etc). It was a big scandal in Pakistan as well (google "aurat march signs" if you want)

Whether you are secular or religious, you should stand against the increasing westernization/liberalization of your social culture where premarital sex becomes normal, religious values go down, birth rates fall, respect of elders goes down the drain, female immodesty becomes normal, your own people become against your own country (liberals talking in support of Turkey's enemies bc of "armenian genocide" for example or Pakistani liberals talking sh*t against Pakistan Army etc) and so on. Such uncontrolled secular-liberal hedonistic culture has had disastrous impact on Western countries. I am sure none of us would want the same for our countries (whether its Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, or whatever). Its not about religion or secularism----its about national respect and respect for your traditions/culture that have been passed down to you by your ancestors for hundreds of years.

For example, I just today read a paper by this secular Turkish academic who specializes in "secularization studies" and he proudly wrote a whole paper where he happily bragged how "God is dying in Turkey" and one of his examples were that it is increasingly becoming normal for Turkish girls to have sex outside of marriage with multiple guys at young age. He even wrote how it was increasingly becoming normal for foreigners to find easy "sex partners" among local Turkish girls just like it happens in Brazil or Thailand etc. Now I don't claim to know much about Turkish culture, but to me---it comes off as a disrespectful thing to be "happy" about. Like hey look look, we are so liberal and progressive that other people from abroad come on holidays and f*ck our girls and its becoming normal yaayyyyy....like what the heck? Its not about religion or secularism (that's personal choice)----its about national respect and respect for your traditions/culture that have been passed down to you by your ancestors for hundreds of years.

This is why a lot of Turks who are leaving Islam are converting to Tengrism instead of becoming an Atheist. Atheism is okay if you already have a good set of morals, however most people need religion to dictate their way of living. Tengrism is perfect in this case because it is going through a mass revival in the Turkic world.

Ha... la..

You can not do anything.

You're denying that extreme liberals and radical Islamists are a threat and saying that we, as the Turkish nation can not get rid of these parasites? Wow, thanks for revealing your true self.

The journalist who claimed protestors had been whistling on AZAN, has apologized.
Moreover he works for Erdoğans supporter media, thanks to him even Erdoğan was informed.
Look how he apologized

Again slander again llying. As we expected , The supporters of ruling party don't hesitate using any dirty methods.

Suddenly having understood the news was fake , they will bomb with another fake news so that ordinary akp voters would feel hate which is fuel of them.

It's compulsory to answer that why Erdoğan didn't stop his speech while hearing Azan?

Actually atheists set of morals depends they dont have a set one compared to Islam, Christianity and other religions.

What is the revival of Pre-Islamic and Pre-Christian religions?? It seems to be growing as people are leaving Islam and Christianity?

I never looked into it but it seems to be growing worldwide in Australia you have Aboriginals leaving Christianity and returning back to Animist beliefs.

I have one question to ask do you really follow Tengrism or are you those neo-pagan types? who just says they follow paganism but dont really follow it per se.

Yeah, you're spot on about atheists. Their morals are varied, it depends on the individual.

About me following Tengrism... I found out about the religion a few years back. My dad gave me a lecture about how Islam has been corrupted and eventually he introduced me to Tengrism.

As I read up more about Tengrism I found out a lot of things that surprised me. I like how grounded and clean the belief system is compared to other religions. For example I like the emphasis on respecting your ancestors. And how unlike other religions where God is perfect and has created a perfect world, it is accepted in Tengrism that there is both good and bad in the universe. A human has a powerful brain, therefore they should use it to improve the life of their descendants which will also make their ancestors happy. I just like how outside the mythology, it is such a grounded religion that makes so much sense.

Although I still have much to learn about Tengrism rituals I have done a few things that make me feel more in touch with Tengri.

These include:
  • Praying to Tengri, by facing open palms upwards and feeling a spiritual connection to nature
  • Planting trees, possibly the best thing you can do in Tengrism. The best tree you can plant according to Tengrism is a birch tree. I don't know why but after I planted a birch tree I felt indescribably happy and enlightened. I think our ancestors loved birch trees because they could handle the high winds of the steppes and it has multiple uses due to the unique oil it possesses.
  • Having a feast at every equinox and solstice and celebrating the balance between seasons and how they change the way you live.
  • Having the utmost respect for your ancestors including the great people who had done good for your nation.
I'll talk more about it tomorrow, going to sleep now

Im surprised you actually try to practice Tengrism as best as you can unlike a lot of neo pagan larpers especially in Europe and the USA who dont even know jack shit about the religion their following while at the same time larping about Odin and Thor.

I actually respect that.

At least you offer more genuine religion than defence.pk advertisements do.
I can't put out with the daily adds about how to be a Christian and asking whether Jesus is a God. We were targeted as preys by witnesses of Jehovah. If I needed a religion why would I chose others religion . I have got already one.

Why do you live in the west instead of an islamic country ruled under sheria if the "western values" are so inferior?

why not saudi arabia or afganistan or iran?

This is such a cliche and down right dumb response. I hoped for you to have been more intelligent than this typical 15 year old response "But WHy aRe YoU lIvInG iN WeSt"...

I, and most migrants, live in Western world for material reasons. In other words, nobody lives in West for its "social values".....People live in Western world because of opportunity and wealth. And its not only West. There are more Pakistani immigrants in Gulf region (Saudi Arabia, UAE etc) than West. Why? Yes, because like West---Saudi Arabia is also a very wealthy region. Infact, there are millions of "Westerners" living Gulf Region as well. Do you think those white Westerners are living in Dubai or Saudi Arabia or Qatar because they love strict Islamic values of these regions? No, they are living there primarily bc of the same reason other immigrants live in West: Material wealth and money making opportunities.

I criticized Western social values when it comes to drugs, premarial sex, lack of religious adherence, respect of elders, and so on. I did not criticized West as a whole. Now stop bringing up same old one-liner responses for no reason.

May be you are also happy and excited for the below part?

For example, I just today read a paper by this secular Turkish academic who specializes in "secularization studies" and he proudly wrote a whole paper where he happily bragged how "God is dying in Turkey" and one of his examples were that it is increasingly becoming normal for Turkish girls to have sex outside of marriage with multiple guys at young age. Its not about religion or secularism (that's personal choice)----its about national respect and respect for your traditions/culture that have been passed down to you by your ancestors for hundreds of years.
