When has Turkey even been a proper democracy?
Because Turks love that strongman image which tayyip cultivated himself. His not the only one when the Ottomans, Gokturks, Ataturk all cultivated this image.
Democracy has always been a alien concept among Turks because it contradicts the natural law that only the strongest can be the leader.
Elections came to Turkey in 1950s LOL
Even if Tayyip is a dictator as many call it or people constantly vote for him. People prefer to have a leader rather than anarchy or a civil war.
Read your history we love strongman.
I know my history very well.
First of all Tayyip isn't a strong man but a puppet and pawn of ziyonists. He is not elected but assigned by ziyonists. He was one who band from politics. Even his teacher Erbakan had said that million times. He is assigned to serve his masters.
As I said he is not a strong man but dictator. How hard he bashes his people and opposition, akpeans think hi is a strong man.
We are living in 21 century. There is no place for dictators. Maybe you are living in the past mentally but we are living in our current time. That's why 50% of Turks recognize him as a dictator.
We all know that we didn't have a proper democracy but we had one at least. Our strong and true leader was Atatürk since his death we had none. He was strong man and his strength was coming from his people. Almost whole Turks were loving him.
There is a strong leader and dictator. Here Tayyip is dictator one not strong one.
