They may decide interest rate, can set the reserve requirements, can engage in open market operations, can print money, can introduce a quantitative easing program etc, within the limits of constitution and laws where they took their powers from.

They cannot just go god mode and rewritten laws as they wish o_O

Take a look at god of Britain, back then and today.

I agree with the prohibition against usury in Islam. In fact it was quite a revolutionary thing to do in it's time. Today rest of the world including in the West have caught up and passed laws that legislate against the same evil that Islam did under usuary.

What is this evil? It is lending money by a person which extortionate interest rates and terms that entrap the borrower. In addition the recovery of said money would entail savage methods. We have laws in UK against this type of lending [usury] and the term is 'loan sharks'.

https://www.gov.uk/report-loan-shark

"Illicit loan sharking is treated as a high-level crime by law enforcement, due to its links to organized crime and the serious violence involved.[22]

Clearly this type of lending by crime syndicates is dangerous involving threats and there have been cases where women are forced into prostitution by gangs to pay the loans. This is what "usury" is all about. However what many of the retarded mullahs do is make no differantion between these gangs and banks etc that are regulated by the government and subject to strict FSA rules that are designed to protect the private borrower. Therefore to equate my bank with a drug gangsters loaning money to desperare people at ridicalous rates without ant paperwork or regulatory purview is silly.

I have borrowed about £250,000 mortgage from the bank against my property. It was great deal and I am quite happy with the terms of the agreement. I was checked by the lender to see met their lending criterion. This can't be compared with some gangsters with guns. But then these people are not known for having much understanding of how the modern world works.

Again it is voluntary. No one is "forced" to take a loan from any bank.

It doesnt mean you are forced just because you feel you need it. No gun is put to your head for it.

And banks are not charities, they are commercial companies and they have to earn money or else they will just cease to exist.

And the only way they make money out of loaning is collecting interest upon those loans.

It is a risky job, not all banks get yearly profits.
Dear Banks don't give their own money, they gather money from people as deposits. Giving own money to bank , people tend to get interest:)
If someone guilty it's not just banks.
For me banks carry out great functions to improve economy and industry.

Exactly this. People want to lend their extra sitting money, but they are not specialized in finance. As such they give their money to banks as investment and earn a part of the interest that is collected upon their deposited money.

In return those who need money get these money and pay it with interest in return.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this system!

PS: Vadeli olmayan hesaplardaki paraların borç vermede kullanılmasına karşıyım tabi!

Biggest bullshit ever. If Kemalists would make a coup, they would do that during "peace progress with PKK", and during AKP-FETÖ alliance.

Right now there is literally nothing to bother Kemalists. There is no peace with PKK Terrorists and we are killing them with huge packages, cleaning our mountains from their filthy existance. And FETÖ is also recognised as enemy, being demolished.

these two (fighting against PKK, fighting against FETÖ) were the only things we Kemalists wanted. We don't care about rest.

FETÖ newspapers are trying so hard to demolish Kemalists.

Actually it is not totally like what you talked about. There is no one-single block of kemalist massive. There is many groups using kemalist title, in order to easying their way for hidden agenda (serving to NATO, serving their corruption). However i can feel some patriot kemalist sectarians start to feel good to Erdogan more than before.
But i agree with you, nobody not intend second coup attemp after seeing what happened to fetö's paid dogs.

Turkey bans all LGBTI events in Ankara 'indefinitely', citing security

Turkish officials have banned all events by lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex rights groups in the country's capital.

The ban took effect on Saturday for an “indefinite” period and applies to all LGBTI film screenings, theatres, panels and exhibitions.

The Ankara governor's office announced on Sunday that the ban was imposed to protect “public security.”

It said the events may cause animosity between different groups and endanger “health and morality” as well as the rights and freedoms of others.

The governor's office warned that some groups may be provoked by LGBTI events and take action against participants due to “certain social sensitivities.”

Although homosexuality is not banned in Turkey and numerous LGBTI associations are legally registered with the state, rights activists say LGBTI individuals face discrimination and stigma.
