I am pretty sure I read an article from Sabah or Hurriyet that mentioned that MIT had informed the generals hours before the coup.

So how did they fail ?

Too late as we all have seen.

With arguments like that you could go on forever. MIT also warned about terrorists acts and such, but government still failed to act on it. istanbul airport suicide bombing was also one of them.

If you blame MIT, you should blame the government as well for failing even RTE.

Thats something whole different that a terrorist attack, it has the potential to trigger a total anarchy in the country.

There is something im blaming Erdogan and AKP for, they were working together for many years, AKP turned a blind eye when cemaat was arresting loyal generals which resulted into the situation we have today.

We had too many in the past, or rather they were not cooperating with each other, so I consider it a waste, but I am not sure if our current intelligent service is sufficient.

Gulen's people are in every govt institution also in the military, do u think there's a chance that someone from MIT who works for Gulen has let or ignored these threats and let terror attacks happen in order to justify a coup and then get support from Turkish people or just to make pressure on Erdoğan?

These traitors have opened fire on civilians with a helicopter and bombed the parliament, i expect anything from them.

To me, it's a possibility because I can't explain 14 terror attacks in 10 months.

l don't know anything about Başbuğ, probably not.

So far many have been assigned to units from Ankara,lstanbul,lzmir etc etc...

These people were Secularist and real Turkish patriots that's why they were kicked out, today we see the results of it.

i hope everyone learned his lesson.

انقرہ -ترکی میں فوجی بغاوت کے دوران شہری اپنی جانوں پر کھیل گئے اور باغیوں کو پسپائی پر مجبور کر دیا۔ عالمی میڈیا پر شہریوں کی اس جانفشانی کی تصاویر اور ویڈیوز نشر اور شائع ہوتی رہیں مگر ان میں ایک شخص کی اس تصویر کو بہت زیادہ پذیرائی ملی جس میں وہ تن تنہا ٹینک کے سامنے لیٹا ہوتا ہے۔ دوسروں کی طرح آپ بھی یقینا جاننا چاہتے ہوں گے کہ آخر یہ بہادر شخص کون ہے۔ اب آپ کا انتظار ختم ہوا کیونکہ وہ جری جوان منظرعام پر آ گیا ہے۔ برطانوی اخبار ڈیلی میل نے اس شخص سے گفتگو کی ہے۔ اخبار کی رپورٹ کے مطابق اس 40سالہ شخص کا نام متین دوگان (Metin Dogan)ہے جس نے ٹینک کے سامنے لیٹتے ہوئے ایک بار بھی نہیں سوچا کہ اس کا انجام کیا ہو سکتا تھا۔ ڈیلی میل سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے متین دوگان کا کہنا تھا کہ ”جب میں ٹینک کے سامنے لیٹا تو میں نے اپنے تمام جسم کو مجتمع کر لیا، بازوں اور ٹانگیں ساتھ ملا لیں کیونکہ میں چاہتا تھا کہ میرا دل، میرا دماغ، میرے تمام اعضاءاور میرا تمام جسم ایک ساتھ اور ایک ہی آن میں کچلا جائے۔اس ایک سیکنڈ کا احساس میں زندگی بھر نہیں بھلا پاﺅں گا، میں نے اس سیکنڈ میں موت کو دیکھا ہے اور میں اس کے لیے پوری طرح تیار تھا۔ اگر میں وہ ایک سیکنڈ سوچنے میں ضائع کر دیتا تو مجھے ایسے لگتا ہے جیسے میں زندگی کی بہت بڑی چیز سے محروم رہ جاتا۔“

رپورٹ کے مطابق متین خود بھی ترک فوج میں خدمات سرانجام دے چکا ہے اور ایک سابق فوجی ہونے کے ناطے ہی شاید اس میں اتنا حوصلہ تھا کہ اس نے موت کو گلے لگانے کی جرات کی۔ متین کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ ”جب میں نے فوجی بغاوت کی خبر سنی تو میں نے انتہائی عجلت میں اپنے بھائی سے کہا کہ تم بیوی بچوں والے ہو....لیکن میں جا رہا ہوں۔ اس کے بعد میں ایک بھی لفظ مزید بولے بغیر وہاں سے نکل آیا۔

میں نے اپنے بھائی کا جواب سننے کی دیر بھی نہیں کی تھی۔ میں گھر سے نکلا تو ایئرپورٹ وہاں سے 6کلومیٹر دور تھا، مجھے دوڑتے ہوئے جانا تھا مگر اسی اثناءمیں ایک نوجوان موٹرسائیکل سوار وہاں سے گزرا۔ میں نے اسے روک لیا اور اسے خدا کا واسطہ دے کر کہا کہ مجھے جتنی جلدی ہو سکے ایئرپورٹ پہنچاﺅ۔ اس کے بعد اس نوجوان کے ساتھ ایئرپورٹ تک کا جو سفر میں نے طے کیا وہ کسی فلم کے منظر کی طرح لگتا ہے۔ اس نے چند منٹ میں مجھے وہاں پہنچا دیا۔“ متین نے اپنی سیاسی وابستگی کے سوال کا جواب دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ” میں نے اس سے قبل زندگی میں کبھی ووٹ بھی نہیں ڈالا۔ مجھے اس سے بھی کوئی غرض نہیں کہ کس جماعت کا صدر اور وزیراعظم اقتدار میں آتا ہے، مگر جو بھی ملک کا صدر یا وزیراعظم ہو گا وہ میرا صدر یا وزیراعظم ہو گااور میرے ملک کا سربراہ ہو گا :- “
