Syrian integrity is not bullshit, Turkish policy has been trash and has allowed PKK to grow. Turkey siding with the US coalition in 1990-2003 establishing the northern no-fly zone in Northern Iraq is what gave PKK breathing room, before that Saddam was pounding them. Then you had the 1993 ambush, that is followed by a shitload of failed policies during Erdogan's rule.
