Dont you think that if you(US) really were fighting ISIS,it would have been destroyed by now?
Take a look at Saddam and how you finished him in a couple of weeks/months,you should not say ''fighting ISIS''.
LOL! You know that we only have a few thousand troops mostly logistics and support, not all in direct combat except special forces involved helping the Kurds and Iraqis fighting against ISIS. Not hundreds of thousands of troops in Iraq during Gulf War 1 and 2 right? The last bastion of ISIS is the city of Mosul which we planned to take in few weeks to few months once the Iraqis have taken over the surrounding areas and prepared for urban combat. Imagine the difference than a year ago when the ISIS was at Iraq's doorstep before we intervened. I could have said the same why Russia and Iranians with Syria are taking so long to defeat ISIS have years involved.
Off topic, but this is a response.
If Turkey is fighting ISIS, thats awesome and hope they don't suffer too much casualties. But they are fighting the Kurds who we are supporting while fighting ISIS. We all know that.
Yeah but Turkey has issues with PKK in SE Tukrey that have killed 700 soldiers and police in the last year. What the Americans have done to help their ally?
