Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

You guys still cant realize that Barzani is actually a pawn of us. He is anti-PKK&YPG because they threaten his rule. His media wing Rudaw makes openly hostile news about YPG. This referendum move is taken because his popularity was falling. He wants to gain support of people otherwise he will go down very soon. Dude is 71 also. He will retire or die in near future and PKK will usurp the rule of KRG.

Bro I used to think the same that Barzani puppet is under our control, it's true we feed the KRG economy and army however just look at our foreign policy we have always placed the bet on the wrong horse and what's to say tomorrow Barzani can't and won't sell us out when Iran, Iraq or US give them guarantees.

I don't think KRG is tied to us as we think they are. This bastard goes to Turkey and talks about brotherhood and when he lands in Iraq he threatens Turkey. That's how stupid our politicians are.

i was already afraid for that because this takes too long to start offensive

Looks like Afrin finally agreed to symbolically raise Assad flags. Just another failure. I could write an encyclopedia with the amount of mistakes they have made in Syria. Retards.

Yes Buddy. It was already agreed with Russia. They said before, Idlip will be kept under Police Control. But better Assad rules
Syria than PKK. It was from the beginning a big mistake to trust in OBAMA's red Lines. If we had have the power we could have done simple BAM BAM and not trust US policy and proxies. So blind strategists in our Gov. and Army.

I think its a result of Turkey-Russia negotiations just like Aleppo, AKP realized FSA is a lost cause and would rather see Assad ruling North Syria, they are just too proud to admit it.

All the hostilities with Syria, Egypt, Israel were for nothing but loosing time, money and prestige, i hardly think theres any regime left in ME that would ever trust Turkey again as long as AKP is in power.

Not first time that I agree to you. But I believe it is not only AKP . AKP is not our state. State policies are short, mid - and longtime.

The problem is Assad does not regain control. Thats why I said raising Assad's flag is symbolic. Assad will barely have any presence in Afrin. Thousands of armed YPG militants will stay.

Yes. State policy should be exempted from the politics. But, AKP did not care any experience gained over thousands of years and ruled the country by "try-see" politics which failed in every issue especially Syria, PKK terrorism and the religous cults such as Gülen islamic terror organisation. In the end, It is not AKP politicians but the Turkish Nation and Turkey suffering.

Exact, btw I hope we will not banned .

No, it is the AKP.

Sorry buddy. You have too short mind. This problems last since decades. But our current Gov. is also incompetent as the others. I had contact with MP Mesut Yilmaz vis a vis as well as with President Özal (Big Balls) , none of them had visions like we have with universal education from around the world. That's not trolling, but truth. They all depend on their consultants, mention the consultants as CIA - FETÖ hore dogs.
Yilmaz was attacked and severe hurted in a Gamble Casino (Budapest) and RIP Özal was killed after a poison attack.

Our Country is protected by ALLAH CC and our Martyrs blood only, otherwise we had collapsed long ago.

Lets stop here.

If Turkish government was smart they could have agreed a 1 to 2 deal to take out Assads forces with Israeli support. Both airforces in a joint op would have crippled the SAA and their infrastructure.

Problem with Turkish government policies is that they want to champion every bodies rights despite not being strong enough to do so. Getting into arguments with Israel over Palestine was stupid as was getting into arguments with Egypt over Muslim Brotherhood. Both countries were good allies of Turkey and Turkey lost more than it gained just to be on the headlines of Aljazeera as champions of the Palestinian cause for a day.

Mavi Marmara incident was just a waste of time and unfortunately lives (RIP) because Turkey did not get any geopolitical reward for it. Turkey should have from 2010 instead focused on their near borders. The goverment should have either made deal with Israel over Assad or not support the revolution at all as the Kurds now are stronger than ever before.

This is a problem when you have an ideological driven goverment (AKP). The ideology blinds them from reality.
