Turkish Missile Programs

I don't understand why they are making such as number 14, a mortar dropped by f16 or drone?

14 is DEMET a cluster bomb.
If you meant number 5(?), I believe its designed for smaller drones.

Its not all air to ground some are just for ground forces i think.

It is a mortar nothing special if you look like that, but the thing is tubitak is making the advertisement. So what is special with that mortar? This is not mke thing.

Most probably it is laser guided 81mm mortar ammunition for drones.

Its a kit for 81mm mortars to be used from small drone platforms (Quadcopters, Small UAV etc), its not guided (active guidance) but it makes a simple calculation towards the target. Improving the accuracy to -10 meters.

Any news about Tendürek?(thermobaric)

I have just read its name here but did not see any official and/or technical data. Internet search did not give any results.

For our seahawks the naval version of UMTAS anti tank missile (called Temren) was developped however range wise we are far behind France for instance. The latest Marte-ER (315kg) has a range of more than 100km (10 times more range!)

Seahawk like 10t helicopters can carry missiles up to 250kg - 300kg. So even the SOM-J (500kg) would come too heavy to deploy on a helicopter.

Is there any plan to develop a missile in the 100km range for Seahawk like helicopters, I guess not. Pitty I do not like the frogs but maybe we should consider Marte-ER missiles.
