Bro, how much infor do we have on Karaok ATGM ? I know Aselsan is developing IR seeker for it, what was the range ?

Bro, If nothing changed, Range was announced as 1,5-2km. Rest is unknown. Name selection even interesting on this missile project.

Same for Manpads project. It should have been completed until now but there is not any single image about it.

I think Karaok and Manpad project more strategical than a lot of projects because they are suitable for irregular warfare like happening in Syria and Iraq, we can use them also we can arming local groups like FSA and Turkmans with those weapons.

If we were have those weapons beginnig of the Syrian war Turkmans would be strongest group at Syria.

Good logic but that blade cuts both ways....Like Harekat Hazm had been favored by Americans and given lots of TOWs...they had so much TOWs, they throw missiles against everything. One day Nusra raided them killed 30 of their members and scattered Harekat Hazm. Also, they captured their warehouse which was full of ATGMs.

So, basically US made ATGMs found their way to Al-Qaida but the fvck up didn't end up there. Later on as ISIS and Nusra were fighting against each other at one instance ISIS captured TOWs from Nusra...

American made ATGMs in the hands of ISIS......god bless Americans didn't gave Manpads to anyone.


So, going with that logic; giving Karaok to Turkmens can down a T-129 in Hakkari.

It reminds me of the stories with the Turkish LAWs found in ISIS hands and now used by YPG. When you are giving weapons you must be very careful.

Of course this senario is possible, but also there are many options that we can use this card against who supports PKK or protecting Turkman villages etc.

They are just trump cards strengthened our hand, even just mention to use this card can chance many things.

Those weapons are very strategic in this region nowadays and we was hasnt got that card while all our opponents was using it.

It can be used that weapons which deployed rebel forces. If they effected by ew it won't harm us at all. It is Not bad idea.
