Satellite Launch Systems
- Coordination role in satellite launch activities to be procured from international companies for National Satellite Projects
- Design and development of sounding rockets for satellite subsystem testing and exo-atmospheric modelling
- Program development of satellite launch systems including ground systems, rocket systems and operation Expertise of ROKETSAN in Space Projects Satellite Propulsion Systems - Design and development of satellite propulsion systems for orbit injection and orbital position control of satellites
- Development of Integration and Testing Facilities for Satellite Propulsion Systems

ROKETSAN is looking for partnership and cooperation in Space Critical Technologies under the 4 th Space Call of FP7. We propose to be a work package partner on the following areas in research projects:
Activity: 9.2. Strengthening the foundations of space science and technology SPA.2011.2.2-02 Space Critical Technologies
 Bladder tanks for bipropellants
 Propellant flow and distribution components for electric and chemical propulsion
 Development of low shock (NEA-like) initiators
 Advanced Ablative Systems for high speed re-entry

“A torpedo from a submarine can be wire-guided. In this case it unwinds behind it a cable which allows the crew of the submarine to direct it. The submarine uses information from its own hydrophones to guide the weapon towards its goal.

This guidance technique is widely used, because it is more reliable and more flexible than fully autonomous and robotized guidance. Indeed, the sensors of a submarine are more powerful. In addition an autonomous torpedo, directed against a silent target (another submarine or a vessel stopped) shall use its active sonar, which makes it immediately visible and will allow time for the target to launch appropriate countermeasures. The wire-guided torpedoes of modern submarines are also capable of being autonomous (in case the cable breaks or needs to be cut, but also in order to reach the target at the end of the race).”

Deniz Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı Deniz Teknik Komutanı Tümamiral Ahmet Çakır, ODTÜ Kültür ve Kongre Merkezi'nde gerçekleştirilen 8. Deniz Sistemleri Semineri'nde yaptığı konuşmada, geçmişte kendi mühendisine, işçisine olan güven eksikliğinin bu dönemde ortadan kalkmasıyla savunma sanayisinin adeta şahlandığını ve gelecekte uluslararası alanda önemli bir oyuncu haline geleceğini söyledi.

Türkiye'nin gemi dizayn ve entegrasyonunda dışa bağımlı olmaktan çıktığına işaret eden Çakır, deniz sistemlerinde birçok teknolojinin millileştirildiğini, bu yöndeki çalışmaların devam ettiğini bildirdi.

Çakır, güdümlü mermide kısa zamanda ulaşılan hedeflerin Türkiye'nin bu konuda da uluslararası alanda lider ülkelerden biri olacağını gösterdiğini vurgulayarak, şöyle devam etti:

"Atmaca projesini hepimiz yakından takip ediyoruz, ilk atışları yapıldı. Önümüzdeki sene gemi platformundan atışlar gerçekleştirilecek. Harpoon'un yerine koymayı planladığımız Atmaca güdümlü mermisinin Harpoon'dan daha üstün kabiliyetli, uzun menzilli, daha üstün yeteneklere sahip bir mermi olmasını amaçlıyoruz. Bundan da kuşkum yok, en kısa zamanda gerçekleştireceğiz."

Çakır, deniz sistemlerinde elde edilen başarıların milli tank ve milli muharip uçak hamlelerinde önemli rol oynadığını söyledi.

Here are the specs of some artillery missiles and guided ballistic missiles.

Could be precision guided Kaplan or Bora.
Im a not sure.
