Following my previous post, some information about Ejder Yalchin 4x4.

Following the completion of its studies which has been initiated by Nurol Makina in the last quarter of 2012, the new member of
EJDER family, EJDER YALÇIN 4x4is presented to the users. The pre-prototype of EJDER 4x4 has been exhibited in IDEF 2013 fair and it has received positive criticism by both Turkish and foreign users and experts. After the fair, pursuant to the completion of the development studies within the scope of the supply agreement signed with the General Directorate of Security, EJDER YALÇIN 4x4 has been qualified and become to the phase of commencing the mass production.

EJDER YALÇIN 4x4 comes to the fore in its class with its impressive design, outstanding land performance, survivability, operational capacity and as one of the vehicles with high internal volume. Different arm towers may be integrated on
EJDER YALÇIN 4x4, which has useful load bearing capacity up to 4 tones according to its terms of use.

EJDER YALÇIN 4x4 draws attention with its modular and versatile structure and its capacity of being used as Reconnaissance, Command - Control, Internal Security, Ambulance, Chemical - Biological -Radiological - Nuclear (CBRN) vehicle, Weapon Carrier and Combat vehicle on the same platform.

EJDER YALÇIN 4x4 has received positive criticism in its presentation to the representatives of the General Directorate of Security and Undersecretariat for Ministry of Defense Land Vehicles Department. EJDER YALÇIN 4x4, the mass production of which has initiated, will be delivered to General Directorate of Security Special Operations Department in the second quarter of 2014.

Outstanding Land Performance
EJDER YALÇIN 4x4 is a dynamic vehicle which fulfills any kind of needs of military units and security forces in the rural and urban areas. It provides high land driving performance with its large tire diameter, wide tires and fully independent suspension system on all wheels. By means of its locked differential system, 4x2 feature may be activated on the asphalt road. Central Tire Inflation System(CTIS) on all wheels continuously controls the tire pressure and enables changing tire pressure on the move. By means of this feature, EJDER YALÇIN 4x4 may provide high performance in the rough land conditions.

Tactical Capacity
Due to its special design, EJDER YALÇIN 4x4, has a seating order which allows easy, comfortable and ergonomic transfer of the personnel inside the vehicle. The seating order may be arranged in different configurations in conformity with the intended use of the vehicle and the needs of the user. The configuration of the door of the vehicle enables the quick entrance / exit of the personnel. The firing ports on the body and the front window have been designed for enabling a convenient use of different weapons. A hydraulic driven salvage crane is located on the vehicle for allowing the vehicle to save itself or assist different elements, when necessary. Similarly, a crane system is integrated on the part that the spare tire is placed in order for the personnel to change the tire easily.

FNSS LAWC-T or Kaplan

LAWC-T Light Armored Weapon Carrier Concept is a new armoured platform of a new generation to fulfill anti-tank (STA-Px), armoured combat and armoured reconnaissance tasks, developed by the FNSS Defense Systems Inc. LAWC-T can be equipped with different types of manned and unmanned turrets, anti-tank guided missile systems and reconnaissance equipment.

LAWC-T is a vehicle with light and low silhouette and a high mobility in road and traffic conditions. It has a four-stroke diesel engine placed at the rear part of the vehicle which provides at least 25 hp/ton power-weight ratio. Thanks to the engine being at the rear part, the driver and the vehicle commander sit side by side in the front part of the vehicle. The eight periscopes that are placed in the front part provide the personnel with a wide viewing angle. That the engine is located at the rear part of the vehicle also provides the vehicle with low heat and sound signature. In this way, the detectability of the vehicle has significantly reduced.

The LAWC-T has a unique design which takes into account logistical advantages and facilities.
Anti-tank guided vehicle (STA-Px) configuration is capable of carrying maximum five personnel. The unmanned anti-tank turret placed on the vehicle has a high efficiency against modern main battle tanks thanks to its Roketsan OMTAS missiles and advantageous day and night target detection systems. 12.7 mm calibre heavy machine gun included in the system provides close protection firepower.
The personnel can enter into the vehicle through the doors located at the rear part and sides and through large driver and commander hatches located in the front part.

Having a torsion bar suspension system, the vehicle is supported with three shock absorbers on each side. It has the sprocket in the front part, idler pulley at the rear part and five units of road wheels. The vehicle can be fitted with T130 and T150 palettes used in the ACV family, and also equipped with new generation rubber palettes. The vehicle has a hydro-static type steering system. The LAWC-T provides a ballistic protection according to NATO STANAG 4569 Level 4. The vehicle can be equipped with ballistic steel or ceramic armour. It also provides mine protection according to STANAG 4569 Level 3a.

The vehicle has been fitted with daylight and thermal cameras placed in the front, rear and side parts of the vehicle which provides driving and situational awareness. Thanks to its modern electronic infrastructure, different electronic sub-systems such as Combat Field Recognition and Identification Systems can be easily integrated into the vehicle.

The LAWC-T has an advantageous mobility to be able to accompany main battle tanks on land. The launch of the prototype of the LAWC-T concept vehicle, which has been prepared in the anti-tank weapon carrier configuration (Ste-Px), will be held at the FNSS stand in the first day of the IDEF 2013 exhibition that will take place on 7-10 May at the TUYAP Fair and Congress Centre.

The Russian vehicle is smarter because It has missile and guns. We made atilgan and korkut when we could just have made 1 vehicle

Completly different things they are : 1-That vehicle is designed for anti-air warfare while our SPAAG is a CIWS designed to protect armored tanks from enemy missiles. 2-Ammo type used in that vehicle is classic AP while ours using AHEAD ammunation.

But the tunguska does that aswell. However the tunguskas missiles are much larger than those on atilgan so at this point in time we couldn't make something that is like the tunguska.

Yeah but tunguska using classic AP(Armor Piercing) ammo like i said while ours use AHEAD ammo and if i remember right a single AHEAD ammunation is releasing something close to 100 little balls , output gap is too much.
What caliber is the gun?
