What's new

Turkish general elections 2015 updates and final result.

It will be same result as last election. I can't believe that AKP put Turkey through a second election instead of accepting MHP's conditions. If it wasn't enough that AKP polarized Turkey they put us through a second election. No government will be formed. I think we need to go through this painful phase to get rid of the corrupt incompetent leadership of AKP. How? With a military coup. Better now than later. For Turks it was blessing from the skies AKP lost the last elections. If AKP won, they would changed the constitution and change to confederate system. AKP fucked up the military and now the turn is to **** up the nation.

What do you mean by AKP didn't accept MHP's conditions.

The impression I got from the news was that AKP went to CHP and MHP several times and they didn't accept AKP's terms.

AKP-CHP coalition was always impossible. Two party too different with one another cannot form a coalition. Hell CHP wished even to be coalition with HDP rather than AKP!

AKP-MHP coalition was possible, but AKP has refused to judge the corrupt deputy which was one the condiction of MHP because Erdogan's son too will be send to jail then. And is true that Bahceli never wished to form a coaliton with AKP too.

AKP-HDP coalition was possible before, bur not anymore with HDP showing is true color with his PKK propaganda and AKP more nationalist view.

CHP-HDP-MHP coalition is the one wished by CHP and HDP, but MHP will never accept it because they will lost all their elector to AKP if they go with.

The only choice is either AKP govt or AKP/MHP coalition if they accept to abondon their condition to judge the corrup deputy.

Nobody wants a coalition with AKP... CHP and MHP are the only ones that could form a coalition in my honest opinion.

people are badly polarized and anybody who accepts a coalition with AKP is going to receive a ...bad feedback let's just say

Yes nobody want, but this the only possible choice. CHP-MHP will not even have more deputy than AKP, they will need HDP to be in the govt.
And this MHP will never accept it, MHP dosn't like AKP but they will go with them rather than HDP.

And what feedback will come for the one which form a coalition form HDP ?
MHP can survive a coalition with AKP but never with HDP.

My prognosis:

AKP: 37-39%

CHP: 25-27%

MHP: 15-17%

HDP: 10-13%

I hope for MHP-CHP coalition.

It'd be nice indeed, I'd be the happiest person in the world when I see that power hungry corrupt cvnt hanging from gallows

it'd be awesome if a CHP-MHP coalition could be formed

Can you please explain why CHP and MHP can't get along and form a coalition for good, at least for the sake of defeating AKP? At least they are closer to each other ideologically compared to AKP, am I wrong?

because they didn't have the numbers needed for forming a coalition on their own in last elections. But even if they had... Erdogan wouldn't give the permission to build a government to CHP.

I mean it didn't even come to that. They've just gone for re-elections.

I thought maybe if 2 parties become majority if they form a coalition, they can take over government, then Erdogan can't do anything about it, right? Are you saying both of them didn't reach 50% together in last elections?

Whatever happens in Turkey you will not achieve your objectives in Syria until you acknowledge your wrongs and seek forgiveness from the people and end your sectarian ethnic cleansing.
Cut the nonsense please Hazzy. :P

@Falcon29
Tyrants don't go away with elections, they go like Saddam, Kaddafi and Chaucescu

That's what's going to happen to Erdogan someday

it's not about the voter percentage it's about the number of parliament members.

You need 276 seats in the parliament to establish a government. CHP+MHP combined in the last elections had about 250 parliament members or something I don't remember the exact number
