Turkish frigates have anchored in Albanian ports.
TCG Kemalreis and TCG Giresun frigates along with TCG Akar logistic support ship anchored in Port of Durres while TCG Gaizantep and TCG Turgutreis frigates anchored in Vlore Port.
The frigates are in the Adriatic on a mission aiming to strengthen cooperation with friendly and allied countries.
The frigates will stay in Albanian ports for three days and join a military exercise with Albanian Naval Forces.
Captain Roland Nasto, chief staff of the Albanian Naval Command, said that cooperation and joint exercises with Turkish Naval Forces would make important contributions to the Albanian Naval Forces.
The frigates will later leave Albania for Alexandria, Egypt.
