What's new

Turkish films in Pak cinema

.
everyone educated is totally against anything Indian .........their cheap , nonsensical stories and songs , old indian cinema is far lost .........we Asians have some traditions which are unique in the world , but the modern indian does not value those traditions anymore but we Pakistanis still do .........
now the question , who actually see indian soaps in pakistan, the poor uneducated people who just don't know much about entertainment and see what ever is available .......yes i accept that when first time ekta kapoor serials start many Pakistani antys started watching those soaps but not anymore , i have not seen anyone who watches old star plus serials , see these present indian soaps ............it just that they are watched by poor people such as my maid and her family , when asked she proudly tells her 4 year daughter watches "gopi bahu" drama and would weep for hours if she miss ....Pakistani channels get filler in the form of cheap indian stuff and these poor people watch them, where india is really running a psychological war ....they know bajans more then indians and know which pooja is when ..... just now when we have ban on indian show , some very fresh breath of air in the form of new Pakistani dramas started , which have been missing for last year because of turkish and indian drama.........now taxation on turkey drama , ban of indian stupid soaps and stupid drama actor who fancy themselves to be film actors ,producers, directors have returned to produce quality drama ...........which is good for our drama industry ..........our drama industry is very unique and at no cost we should let it destroy or compromise ..............we can still see the gold dramas like dhoop kinary and alpha bravo charlie with bad sets and bad camera but still in this modern world they are real gem ......

.
I dont think so,to all three questions.
Thanks.
Wow, looking at the content quality of these tv shows some of you guys have shared here, isn't it a negligence on Turkish media part as they had an easy access to at least European viewers to promote their culture?

What is the level of understanding of English in Turkey? Are English/American TV shows being watched widely and regularly?

Sorry about this if I am bothering you, actually I am related to entertainment media (I am in IT field though) and am just interested to know the potential of digital media content there. Before you suggest to me :-), yes, now I will be thoroughly researching on this in near future.

Do you think Turkey is better positioned than China?

The great Soviets and US couldn't conquer Pakistan.

If there is anyone country that can do it, it has to be China.

Can you please stop spoonfeeding hatred for once, please? thanks.

i watched this show and really this scene is sad ........but the thing is this show has some of the very fine actors . cast and sets are awsum .....their acting is class apart .........but turks know how to stretch their drama brother hahhaaa..... if you ask them to make a drama on a single page of script they can shoot it for about a month , with all those exotic locations and etc etc ....... what happened with other turkish shows , they actually have no story , the opening episodes define the theme which would be lost somewhere on the show and then the show totally lost the script and it ends ......... i love turkish shows and watch them but thats also a reality of some of the very big tv serials of your country .....
this tv serial muhtesem yuzyil , it has very little resemblance to the history , clothes are totally un accurate , the designer wants to create some kind of western Turkish cloths and cross between lord of the rings and game of thones ............no one used to wear velvet cloaks , it was ottoman turkey not lord of the rings hahahahaaaaaaaaa ....plus that ottoman empire is nothing like what turkey is today , they are not secular at all , their women are modestly dressed .........and their woman certainly cover themselves when they talk with other man ....plus men dont wear some kind of pants , even the English dont wear pants , they used to wear briches ........turks used to wear shelver and same is with woman ..........theirs crowns are their owns not what western crowns are .........

The most epic scene i have seen in a Turkish production, Prince Mustafa getting executed by his father Sultan Süleyman Han.

Prince Mustafa girding his sword

I like these kind of movies more than anything else which tells about Muslim history.I think those soldiers are called Ottoman Janissaries.:-)

Many Turkish movies are shown in cinema's all over Western Europe but the audience mostly consists of Turks,Arabs,Bosnians etc.
Countries like Greece,Romania,Bosnia,Macedonia are already showing Turkish soaps.

The level of English in Turkiye is very low because of synchronization(dubbing),the movie is released in Turkish.

Yeah Turkish shows are really exaggerated, i mean 2 hours per episode is insane thats longer than a avarage hollywood movie.
And the show about ottomans is for entertainmen, it would never reach those viewer numbers if it was perfectly accurate.

Another newbie false flagger.

@Horus mods should seriously consider banning Indian IPs waving Pakistani flags.

I have logged on after many days and I see this notification. Why is everyone calling me Indian here? Just because I voiced my opinion which is different from you main Pakistani nahi hoon ab? I live in the UK and I'm born and bred in Pakistan, I'm a Muslim and from Islamabad + Sialkot now buzz off.

Yup.

Kardesim, would you do me favour? I have been looking for the episode where Sultan Suleyman is reading a poem for Ibrahim pasha and its shot in Ibrahim's palace, it talks about friendship and its a very deep poem, I regret not saving the episode number and now I don't know how to locate it online.
