Interesting how Tumosan and Ford-Otosan did not take part, both companies who've actually designed and produce engines indigenously.
 
Dura-1300 tranmission. 300hp power, 1250 nm tork - 8+1 tranmission

Arent 250hp a little less for 5.2l?

Horse power is for speed en torq is pulling power, we don't need race cars but strong engines for heavy duty. I ques that engines have 1500nm torqeu.

Not neccesarily, truck engines can have 700 hp or tanks even 1000-1500hp and those arent exatly known for speed.

who is going to pay that much petrol? 2.5 engines are perfect for cobra, why using that much cc engines for vehicle as cobra?

As you said its about torque, bigger engine gives more torque.
