Nah, the way I see it is, that people who don't like RTE and AKP are blaming them for running several politics that are counterproductive.

I think one of the posts blamed RTE and AKP for trying to run the country like socialists aka communists. But that was (imo) a way of placing the blame for the inflation.

The idea that a social welfare system cannot exist in a strong economic democracy is deeply rooted in capitalism. Look at the US, and then look at Scandinavian countries. It's doable, but difficult because you will always have ppl who abuse the system one way or another.

I'm not sure that I like how the new "law" enacted is treating turkish citizens compared to foreign citizens.

According to AKP haters on this forum first they where religious, they where shouting ”seküler devlet elden gidiyee”. Some years later they changed that Erdogan was an atheist. The interestin is that these days he have also became an hard core communist.

Literally all of them are about:'When will REIS see us state employees?? :'(', 'Funds always for working women.. What about the women that stay at home and grow their kids?!?! Please REIS give these funds to them instead!', 'REIS please suppress and kill/take over all their wealth who "manipulate" prices! Garibans are with you!!', 'REIS we went out to the streets on the 15th, and made you the president. Now it is your turn REIS, please increase the minimum wage!!', 'REIS just bring sharia laws and adopt the 2.5% wealth tax from sharia, take the 2.5% of everything the rich people own every year and then see whether or not there will ever be poverty again in this country!'

And zillion others, every single day!

The only reason why AKPians refuse to be communist is because they don't know what communism is. They think communism is 'dinsizlik', that is why they feel like they dont like it. But all in all they really are communists.

Turks need to unite and stand behind their govt to handle the pressure on economy these days.

Turkish tourism sector is recovering so hopefully it’ll help. Hopefully Erdogan govt takes appropriate steps to come out of this crisis and fix the faultines in Turkish economy

Localization of production is necessary too. Turkish GDP in PPP is growing regardless. As you become increasingly industrialized and produce more of your own goods at home...the “nominal” GDP starts to lose value and hence you become more secure against external currency fluctuations against dollar

We need to keep sacrificing the domestic economy in return of more exports! More and more of the resources and labor capital we have should be spent on exports!

A country that cant compete and keep pace with others can only have a bleak future!

TCMB) Ağustos ayı ödemeler dengesi verilerini açıkladı. Buna göre ödemeler dengesi ağustos ayında 2 milyar 592 milyon dolar fazla verirken, 12 aylık cari açık ise 51 milyar 125 milyon dolar oldu.

Böylece 2015 Eylül ayından bu yana ilk kez cari fazla verildi. Cari işlemler hesabının fazla vermesinde, ödemeler dengesi tablosundaki dış ticaret açığının bir önceki yılın aynı ayına göre 3.065 milyon dolar azalarak 1.284 milyon dolara gerilemesi ve hizmetler dengesinden kaynaklanan net girişlerin 741 milyon dolar artarak 4.627 milyon dolara yükselmesi etkili oldu.

Beklenti cari işlemler fazlasının 2.5 milyar dolar olmasıydı.

NET HATA NOKSAN 3.66 MİLYAR DOLAR OLDU

Ağustos'ta net hata noksan kalemi 3.66 milyar dolar fazla verdi, önceki 2.98 milyar dolardı.

Altın ve enerji hariç cari işlemler hesabı bir önceki yılın Ağustos ayında 2.438 milyon dolar fazla vermişken, bu ay 5.109 milyon dolar fazla verdi.

Hizmetler dengesi altında seyahat kaleminden kaynaklanan net gelirler, bir önceki yılın aynı ayına göre 461 milyon dolar artarak 3.693 milyon dolara yükseldi. Birincil gelir dengesi kalemi altında yatırım geliri kaleminden kaynaklanan net çıkışlar, bir önceki yılın aynı ayına göre 67 milyon dolar artarak 675 milyon dolar oldu.

Doğrudan yatırımlardan kaynaklanan net girişler, bir önceki yılın aynı ayına göre 60 milyon dolar azalarak 737 milyon dolar oldu. portföy yatırımları 1.786 milyon dolar tutarında net çıkış kaydetti. Bu gelişmede, yurtiçinde yerleşiklerin yurtdışında yaptığı yatırımlardaki 821 milyon dolar artış ile yurtdışı yerleşiklerin yurtiçinde yaptığı yatırımlardaki 965 milyon dolar azalış etkili oldu.

Portföy yatırımlarının alt kalemleri incelendiğinde, yurtdışı yerleşiklerin hisse senedi piyasasında 36 milyon dolar ve devlet iç borçlanma senetleri piyasasında 666 milyon dolar net satış yaptığı görüldü.

Diğer yatırımlar altında, yurtiçi bankaların yurtdışı muhabirlerindeki efektif ve mevduat varlıkları 10.371 milyon dolar ve yurtdışı bankaların yurtiçindeki mevduatları 284 milyon dolar net artış kaydetti.

Ayrıca ödemeler dengesi istatistikleri veri setine, Ağustos 2018 yayınından itibaren yeni bir tablo olan "Tablo 7: Cari İşlemler Hesabı, Parasal Olmayan Altın ve Enerji Dış Ticareti" eklendi.
