Was hoping a local company would've owned a percentage of the subsidiary TRJet as well. But still good news though obviously.Sierra Nevada Corporation Forms New Turkish Subsidiary, TRJet,

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), a United States-based aerospace and aviation systems company, announces the formation of its newest wholly-owned subsidiary, TRJet Havacilik Teknolojileri Anonim Şirketi (TRJet)...

I have a question, who owns the rights to the planes? SNC? Turkish governmental institution? TRJet? Is it a similar deal like the T-129? What are the specifics here, does anyone know?

THANK YOU BOSS =)Bro, Isoo pointed out the most of what I mean but Those are the general problems of advancing countries defence industries. SSM has been preoccupying on those issues since years. They made some changes on tender rules and offset regulations. R&D activities became a prohibition for all Turkish institutes. SSM obliged institutes to share big pay of cake to smees and subcontactors to improve the capabilities all togather. Some prize activities are arranged to encourage institutes who made state of art products and R&D activities. Each year, The institutes are listed in accordance with their R&Ds and work shares with smee's at official pages. Big tecnopark projects are being opened, University/industry collaboration generated many subcomponent projects which was completed succesfully. They are working on newer projects. Many strategic subsystem development projects are also commenced systematically on areas of metalurgy, infrared, detector, lenses, explosives, chemicals, fuel technologies, integrated circuits, GaN and Silicon based chip and semi conductors...etc which are known as the latest point of advanced technologies and more important than wel. Aselsan like big institutes started revealing some systems for civilian sector. MKEK is working for train wheels. TAI is producing wind turbine blades, Roketsan is airbag for automotive industry. All those projects are mostly under development phase along with complete strategic military projects. Once such industrial activities are completed, The share of offsets on total defence industry incomes will be like a small piece of cake but Even If big projects are completed succesfully, Exporting strategic platforms to other countries is a serious and difficult work so SSM is opening work offices on countries Turkey seriously interested to export own products. The institutes are encouraged to open new facilities on foreign countries under partnership with regional players. Aselsan made it and opened many factories out of our border; TAI is planning to do similar and Roketsan also sold some products' licence rights to other countries. FNSS joined into partnership projects with Malaysia/Indonesia like countries which is going to feed them 50-60 years maybe. Otokar's advertisement and product qualities are popular all around the World so Their products are selling like cheese. Otokar is also established first factory out of our borders to produce Cobra vehicles for Kazakhstan. All those activities are like a precuation of What orko told in his article but Even If you develop superior products whose strategic hardwares are solely developed by your own industry, Domestic market has a limited potential so All roads lead to be able to export them to other countries to feed the gears of our advancing industry so Not only industry but also government should take action because Military tools can't be exported to others without governmental guarantees and friendly politic relations. A few rifle or radioes can be sold to anywhere you want but When you want to export an armed drone, attack helicopter, frigate or howitzer to a friend country, Some adverse opinions are suddenly heart so Everybody should work in same network. Trading with ally countries on defence sector is not the mission of only defence institutes.
Americans used to hide their B2 bombers in hangars in Area 51 during day time and only took it out on night time so it wont leave a thermal shadow which might be detected by Soviet satellites, in the night.
