Does the Turkish Air Force have Combat control teams or something like USAF Ground units. (Other then MAK)

Air Force has many branches to serve. One of them is Security (Air Force Infantry). It's no different than USAF Security Forces. In US bases they're reffered as Security Squadrons whereas in our case they are Security Battalions. They have an international scope as well. They've been taking part at foreign military deployments as air base security forces and MPs.

As for the combat control related question. Besides MAK there are two other units known. One is the security details of the highest ranking air force generals and the other is the Air Force Forward Air Controlling unit. We don't know much about it, even officially.

Why am I so surprised to see Police SF finally deciding to put their helmets on when fighting, instead of 'titanium masks'...

Also, ain't that the helmet used by GSG9 operators, newly procured I suppose?

ugly as fvck. bulgarian ak-47? or vz-58.

edit: it's indeed vz-58.

edit2: so, how in hell did this rifle end up in turkey? was it bought from iraq? captured from pkk?

During the 90's when the two Germanies combined, the east german side sold and dumbed most of their old soviet equipment. Turkey purchased a huge quantity of small arms, armored vehicles, tanks and etc. from them at the time. They most likely did the same aswell with Bulgaria and other former Soviet states. You rarely see them still being used as most of them have already been replaced by either Sig's, M4's, HK416's and etc. depending on which security forces we are talking about.
