View media item 17853Turkey's CH-17 Chinook was flying over Beytepe, Ankara. Those have been flying together for two days in an order, sorry for the bad quality.

I have a good video, I will get myself a YouTube channel...

I know I ask this question before. How many marines Turkey plans to form in the future. I know they has 2000-3000 units.
I do not know but considering the rapid growth of navy and new ships getting built(for ex. tcg anadolu) I think it will raise dramaticly.

I want to know how the training is look like. Simlar like the US one.

Generally speaking - take one look at training lenght and you will see quality / skill of troops. Although it is not so black and white (I have given a more detailed explanation below).

Turkish Marines > 5-6 months training.
US Marines > 6 months approx I think.
British > approx 8 months

Turkey - 5-6 months (As it is all pro now in Marines - all recruits will already have completed regular infantry school approx 3 months long). Amphibious school is a further 3 months. The Marines are probably one of Turkeys more effective formations as they have seen high success in Iraq and recently Syria (they still rotate a couple of their own OPs in Syria).

They train just like any NATO formation geared for offensive operations really. Have a look at video below - random simulation grenades being thrown at them from around blind corners and through windows etc a lot of the training is based on uncontrolled scenarios (chaotic learning) etc. They are not a fan of simulated training where all the factors are under the control and dictation of certain NCOs. They prefer MILES simulation and always independent human opponents.

Training length is close to US marines but just not as good. The doctrine and schedule of the training is based off of US Marines (minus the initial basic phases in US). But the problem is in Turkey there is a lack of uniformity across instructors and there is not as much emphasis on ensuring the students retain what they are being taught. The US has far more rigid standards of graduating recruits and instructors that arent doing their job right are called on it.

That being said the image that the US Marines are the best trained Marines on the planet is also a false notion generated through Hollywood and video games.

The British Royal Marines are far far superior in the training received and skills learned compared to US marines. The US Marines have access to far better support assets and logistics. Which makes them seem more potent. But on a soldier per soldier basis the Brits are on a whole other level. Even when US Marines exercise with the British Royal Marines the US troops tend to look mediocre in comparison.
