Turkish ambassador back

The people themselves do this when the time comes...see the examples of South Korea and Taiwan.

Autocracy strains against the people only when they reach a certain level of basic development and income and aspire for more (which autocracy at some level tends to chaff badly at given it is inherently quite unresponsive to certain needs that follow growing disposable incomes).

Bangladesh is way way below that threshold. Autocracy can effectively continue unabated for a generation at least....as long as it ensures basic needs continue to expand in coverage and income + job growth are adequate.

When Bangladesh practiced democracy well above 100 years and you are saying we are below threshold. When our people queued 85% in the polling booth and everytime they made perfect choice and you are saying we are below threshold. Is it because people may kick Hasina out this time if a fair election takes place. Democracy is not perfect unless AL comes to power. Is it your logic?

Yes you are undereducated and underconsuming nation....which has led to this infestation of Jamaati thinking types in significant portions.

The therapy is to keep them controlled and let people grow their incomes over time so they abandon providing sanctuary and refuge for these fools given its not profitable or sustainable to do so with better income and education.

When has Bangladesh truly practiced democracy that too for 100 years? It never rates highly on the democratic institution indices...whether under BAL or BNP or under Ershads rule and the 2 leaders before him....and the army rule in between in places.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index

It is effectively a roulette wheel of autocracy with some democratic elements...that seems to have finally landed at BAL and will stay there for quite some time I foresee.

Democracy is not perfect unless AL comes to power. Is it your logic?

The non AL parties have long termed flawed ideologies that are ultimately anti-democratic and anti-progressive....that will only harm Bangladesh.

AL is the necessary evil it seems for Bangladesh democracy to succeed in the long term....they are not great...in fact they are barely mediocre....but till Bangladesh comes up with something better, they must remain given the other choices.

As if BD motto is to suppress Jamaat and nothing else. Jamaat is a insignificant party in Bangladesh yet they hold a very good conservative sect of the society and good for the democracy. BD problem is not Jamaat and never were. It is made a problem by the so called fascist type people.
Democracy should be corrected with more democracy.
If Modi like people can become PM of India then why are you nagging about Bangladesh.

Are you not listening or what? The non AL while in power shown more democratic norm than AL itself. Ask your companion here, how many TV channels, newspaper this govt banned and how many BNP banned in their tenure.

We used to make all kind of fun in social media, making ugly cartoons about govt even made monster cartoon about Jamati ministers. None of them arrested neither even investigated or even protested. Can you do that now? Nada.. zero. You will be arrested right away.
Then come to disappearance of people and killing of opposition activist.
Ask any AL people, how many of their leader got arrested while BNP was in power. How many times their secretary general had to visit Jail NONE
Now, ask how many days BNP secretary general can stay out of jail. How many times BNP get to organize a rally in BD?

In the end its your country and no one other than India really gives a damn about your politics.

Having a better democracy here, we can definitely steer Bangladesh over time so it can develop a real democratic environment in the long term.

For that you will have to trust in BAL for now.

If not, please mobilise against it....because so far its been a big boring zilch on that front.

Are you not listening or what? The non AL while in power shown more democratic norm than AL itself.

Don't see it in any of the neutral democracy ratings...and where are the street protests against all of this?

Its good that BNP is being tore apart like the crap it is. May it continue.

You can ask all these questions to @bongbang and other BAL people. I don't follow Bangladesh politics in such detail other than the broad ideologies of the main parties (this includes BNP which stupidly went into coalition with the jamatis and sullied any chance of its reputation being salvaged).

I am all for using a bad guy (BAL) to get rid of an even worse bad guy (BNP - JEI and all the other of their ilk)....since there are clearly no good guys that are available that have punching power.

At any point remember, Bangladesh people can rise up and start a revolution against what they have.....but they dont now do they? What does that illustrate. Either Bangladeshis are the most docile weak people in the world or BAL is playing a much better political game than the rest. Works for me since BNP-JEI affiliation means they are against the long term democratic and progressive basics.

When BAL has gone into complete BNP-JEI cull phase....of course its going to ban certain things...but its working quite well isn't it for Bangladesh? Or you are all that weak to not deal with your own leaders and govt if it has overstepped the boundaries in exchange for delivering the continued growth and stability?

Let the machiavelian politics play out, where is the pressing need to go against the tide just in the name of higher level democracy if you are getting better fundamental basics sorted out first?

You talk too much nonsense and blabber out of thin knowledge. Didnt I ask you in the past not to use my name in your silly discussions to prove anything? And dont paint my stand as you think. If I have to add anything I will do that myself. Usually I dont come into discussions in the middle, only in the opening. So plz make your discussions mutual. And dont assume anything from me, just plain questions. When did I say Im BAL people? Im anti BNP/JeI and I support gov, and I see BD has more stakes in BAL. So my stand may overlap with BAL. Next time keep these in mind. Cant understand why these desi retardos call other nationals in internal matters and give them too much space than they deserve. Too much time in hand.

Which part of the news seemed drama to you?
and Which part the stupidity?

Gulen works like Jamat e Islam in Bangladesh. Jamat tries to lure poor religious kids during their school life and helps them to become journalist, lawyer or powerful figure to infiltrate the system. Heck Even Awamileague believes there are Jamatis inside Awamileague. Gulen community worked in this way. And Erdogan is arresting Lawyers Teachers Journalists Civil officers who has ties with Gulen.

I remember when I was in class 7 I heard some of my classmates were going to a gathering in the mosque where Islamic books would be given by some people. I went there with them. There were some discussionss and at the end A committee was formed but I wasn't there. I felt insulted but later I learnt that they intentionally kept my name out not to enrage my parents.

I don't think so gulen has created much influence over Turkish system unlike jamat who have dedicated workers but lacks mass support. Jamat work with middle class mainly. And it's true Gulen support Erdogan to power but wanted to control indirectly through his man's inside Turkish govt. Society which ultimately break the relationship.

Haha so butthurt we own the maid haseena. BD divided nicely into 2 factions....excellent.

What a laughing stock your "country" is.

On a serious note, these are the people who literally brainwash youths to join jammat and other terrorist groups.

Guru, ki kora jaye? Amader deshe amader nijeder shuworer bachcha ki nei?

You have VERY POOR understanding about Gulen, Erdogan and how Turkish politics work. I would not make comments but would suggest to dig deep.

I understand that the Gulenists and AKP helped each other to hunt down the Kemalists. Now the Kemalists are weaker, Gulenists and AkP are competing for the throne. If you think otherwise, You may share.

AKP Jamat and Morsi shared similar ideology. That is why Erdogan tried to speak for Jamat. And also Pakistan may have influenced the decision of Turkey to react as they share an unbreakable bond.

However, no one would want to ride a dead horse Specially Erdogan. I havent seen a cannier leader recently than him. Eventually he will forget about Mursi and Jamat.

Was more problematic than Cuban Missile Crisis:D

Than Rape epidemic of Delhi as well
