The thing is before 2005 mine was being operated by state. And only 2 accidents happened at 30 years.
By the privatization dozens of accidents happened in Soma mine....

I heard that no miner died in Germany for the last 45 years. I think we should just copy the German system.

First at all, work-safety is important in all sectors of work. Employees must known his right. Employer his obligations and the state must controll that standards are respected. At first, definition of standards.

Mate, i'm not familier with the mining standarts and codes.

But we know that escape rooms like this

Other than mining standarts we generally copy "EN" (English) Standart and change their name as TS-EN standart. Also we use German "DIN" and some American .

Some of the standarts are very good, especially Earthquake standarts is good. Also fire , elevator etc...

İ personally think that in Turkey for something to change, something bad has to happen. Like after the İstanbul earthquake we got our act together and now have very hard and strict construction earthquake policy.
This is actually typically a Turkish thing, we don't act pre-emptive, we only act after the sh!t hits the fan.

All İ can hope is that the deaths of these mine workers won't go in to vain and that their legacy will give better working conditions for their comrades in profession in the future.

Searching history, religion, energy, geostrategics, geopoliticals, seas, the Bosporus and the Dardanelles, historical silk road, spice route, being energy hub, potential of Türkiye which is much bigger then Ottomans....

You think their wealth is godgiven ? many societies has some characteristic features coming from historical background, Jews as a society are hard and clever workers, they know how to trade, its not their fault if others are not as successful as them.
