Pure bullshit. Nobody feels like losing country nor majority wants to bring Sharia. People can keep sharia in their homes and personal lives unless it's against laws.

I voted Erdoğan for my reasons but I will be the first to fight him if he tries to bring Sharia which will never happen.

Its a hard to swallow pill for many islamists across the world, they think the know jackshit about Turks just because they saw stuff on facebook.

I just realised this also applies to the article in OP....


If all those people just knew that the second highest religious authority in the country was a female with Atatürk portrait in her office.

Turks understanding of islam is fundamentally different than what these people think, in fact the Turks struggle with this school of thought is centuries old and dates all the way back to Ottomans.
They would get an heart attack if you told them that it wasnt Atatürk who started secularisation of Turkey but the Ottoman Sultans themselves, but what can you teach to such people if they perefer to learn pseudo history from facebook pages insted of reading something genuine without fancs pictures.
