Turkey's only Friend

. .
After all this time, in ki psyche mujai abi b hairan kar daiti hai. In kai saath b yeh sab kuch ho rha hai, is kai bawajood samajnai ki bajai aur defensive ho jatai hai yeh loog. yeh sirf aik do loog is tarah nhi sochtai, jitni meri in kai saath interaction hui, its kinda of a collective mindset. Zara b bardasht nhi aur na kuch tanqeed ya muhtalif nazaria sunanai ki saqat in main. Khud jo marzi rai ho even that based on wrong perceptions, unable to correct themselves. Prime Example yeh secular islamist guy. is kai saath kafi dair pehlai behas hui turks in Pakistan. Intihai darjai ka nasal parast. After repeatedly correcting, i gave up.
Actually our Turkish brothers are new to this game which I always term as "Dancing with the Devil" , as I say in this game it is important to know who you can trust but it is more important to know who you can not trust

"TRUST EVERYONE BUT NO ONE"

They are facing the Syrian situation from 2011 but we are continuously facing this type of situations since 1970 almost 50 years.

So its not just them who are the victim of western media its a global phenomena, you know what surprise me when Chinese and Turkish members get involved in debates about Uyghur and Kurd issues and both of them use western media reports against each othe, knowing fully well that western media does not report about their countries positively most of the time, for example I was watching a CNN report about this Turkish operation in Syria yesterday and the reporter was using such phrases
- Turkey want to handover these land to "so called Arab Kurd" who "they think" are the real owner of this land

- There is no place to flee as Syria is already at war

- Turkey is attacking targets in Civilian areas and bla bla bla ....

They need to understan what western media reports it could be a fact but does it indicates the truth the Complete Turth ????

Like it is quoted in my signature section
Seek Truth from Facts .....

I remember president Erdogan visited China much before PM IK. Right?
So can you please state (with sources in English of course) what were the statements of the Turkish president?

Very good question, his hypocrisy exposed

I won't call him a hypocrite but an angry family member. For us Pakistanis, both Turkish and Chinese are like brothers but you some times have two brothers who don't get along with each other then the third tries to make things work between them but it gets difficult at times and both demand to choose sides... that's the situation we Pakistanis often face :-)

I am reading comments and can’t believe what people are saying(those who criticize pakistan) how can you be so selfish i am turk proud muslim but 100x more nationalistic oriented yet i perfectly understand pakistan they have nazi neighbor who has 7x bigger population several times bigger army and economy west/us abandoned pakistan so the result was too much dependence on china if pakistan had a chance they would definitely say something but they can’t and i and many normal people understand but those ultra leftist secularists who are attacking pakistan only because 5-20 pak accounts sided with china propaganda so what how can you have negative opinion for 200 milion people just because of 30 people
just reminder last week when proud nationalists protested why istanbul had chinese signs at metro aftet all istanbul is run by chp(old chp administration was patriotic and nationalistic the current one is pathetic and treacherous)

I didnt want to post to the thread anymore but some of you might remember our legendary member Sinan, he was one of the oldest Turkish members of PDF who basically built up Turkish section together with @cabatli_53 and other old members, in short his contribution to the forum will surely ring bells for some of you here.
His avatar was like this:

He just expressed his wish to be mentioned here, he says he left the forum permanently because of this issue.
Just wanted to fulfill his wish and let you know.

I wasn't going to post on this issue but seeing as Sinan's name has been mentioned I will.

Things came to a head around three years ago when Chinese posters would put up thread after thread on the Kurds in the Turkish and Middle East section in response to the Turkish Uighur threads in the Chinese sections. We brokered an agreement by word between the two parties that they would not put up threads on each other's sections and just talk about the issue between themselves. Something else happened and I remember dubious being in the middle of it, trying to establish a peace. This led to both Sinan and T-156 (can't remember his exact name) both leaving the forum.

Now the irony of this all is that we still allowed and even let members from the Turkish section to talk about the Xinjiang issue in the Chinese section, the thread was a sticky, although Chinese members were also allowed to put their side of the story, consider it a halfway house of sorts i.e. so we could control the fallout of multiple threads. However it still earned the anger of many Chinese members who accused PDF of open bias, as no such Kurdish thread existed. The net result of this was that PDF has now been banned by the Chinese government, many Chinese posters refuse to post here and now posts that are being put up there by Pakistani expats are being translated onto Chinese web forums and used as evidence as Pakistanis have stabbed Chinese people in the back. Of course it's not the norm, but part of a growing trend.

With the site clearly one sided for the Turkish posters, what did we get in return was two senior members leaving and accusing the site of siding with the Chinese, when in fact the balance was titled in their favour.
I wish Sinan the best and T-156 but we went out of our way to help the Turkish posters, and to see posts accusing us of all sorts is deeply upsetting, hurtful and unfair.

There needs to be a blanket ban on ANYTHING anti-Chinese or anti-Turkish by ANYONE on PDF. WE need to keep both China and Turkey ONSIDE always.

Who gives a fcuk!!!

What's more important Turkey protecting itself and it's national interest or pandering to idiots who would do nothing if Turkey was attacked and Turks killed.

Pakistan stands with Turkey and a strong, prosperous Turkey is in our interests, we will support Turkey
Pakistan needs to resolve it's economic issues and issues with corruption so we can rise as a nation and stand with our friends

This what I called trap (though an unintentional trap) in my previous post and two of Turkish member were taking offence of that word.

It does not matter does not matter how much balancing act is performed by us someone from either of the community will get offended and would accuse us as biased in favour of the other community

The guy you are quoting is also a secularist.
The guy you are quoting is also a secularist.
He is a Gullenist to be precise i.e. follower of the Fatehullah Gullen who has distorted the teachings of Islam and their goal is to focus on materialism and practice secularism while using the label of Islam. Their modus operandi was the most difficult to detect since they work on education and brainwashing the students in their school network spread around the globe. And the fact that Fateh Gullen is finding a shelter in US and is secured by CIA and FBI should speak for itself.

Agreed. However, I was talking about Indus Pakistan. He is also a secularist. This fact makes them equal in my eyes.
