Turkey’s Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), in collaboration with King Abdullah Foundation (KAF) and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), launched eight mobile clinics in Pakistan on Friday.

The launching ceremony held in the capital Islamabad was attended by Javed Mirza, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s adviser for health, Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, IDB President Bandar Hajjar, IHH Deputy Chairman Yavuz Dede, and NGO’s other top representatives apart from a good number of foreign diplomats and guests.

Speaking at the ceremony, the health adviser said that the IHH in collaboration with the IDB and KAF is bringing a total of 15 mobile clinics to Pakistan, of which 8 were being put into service immediately.

"We have the chance to provide quality health services to the people of the country’s several underdeveloped areas through these mobile clinics”, Mirza said, adding: “Our country cannot achieve prosperity if we do not provide basic health services to our people”.

The mobile clinics, he observed, would serve this purpose.

Mirza, on behalf of the prime minister, thanked the IHH and the two donors for provision of quality health services to the people of Pakistan through mobile clinics.

Program Manager Ahmed Salih Hariri, who carried out the mobile clinics project under the umbrella of IDB, mentioned that all the mobile clinics were fully equipped with the latest medical facilities including operation room, pharmacy and x-ray center. Besides, he added, that the mobile clinics would be operated through solar energy.

Hariri said that the clinic’s capacity would be increased with the passage of time. In addition to that, he added, medical education and internship opportunities will also be offered to Pakistani students in future.

IHH Deputy Chairman Yavuz Dede said that the project was co-financed by the KAF and coordinated by the IDB.

He said the mobile clinics would consist of an operation room, a delivery room, 3 polyclinic rooms, a pharmacy and an x-ray room. All these services will be free of cost, he maintained.

He added that vaccination and cataract surgery will also be introduced in the mobile clinics in near future.

@Khafee UAE should follow Turkiye's example. But I can't expect the rich city-states to bother with such acts because it is not befitting for their subversive nature.

I think Saudi is reach and

Believe or not is Saudi Arabian

I do believe that is one of the rich city states that is bothering?

Absolutely no complaints with respect to the Saudis from my end. Like I said before those guys really have helped us in hard times.

Can't say the same about the city states around Dubai. The people there just make tough times tougher for us.

Well UAE and Saudi have roughly the same policies if one is helping other won't dare to sabotage....its a two in one package deal

This is false. Glaringly false in the case of Pakistan. If you look at the Yemen conflict they have diverging goals (KSA wants a united pro-Saudi government, UAE wants to break Yemen into two pieces).

We don't see trails or hints of Saudi involvement in any destabilization activities within Balochistan but only a few weeks back you had a report 'from the field' and again they mentioned the same clues that were reported on from years ago with respect to this kind of behaviour being displayed by the UAE.

I don't even need to begin with UAE's extremely close ties with India. Saudis instead have adopted a balanced approach thankfully.

UAE is happy doing Israel’s work in the region and trying to one-up KSA, while KSA has become a bit more careful as anti-KSA sentiment and propaganda has become toxic in the US.

They don’t always have the same policies. UAE is trying to establish bases in Muslim countries at the expense of their territorial integrity. South Yemen, Haftar militia in Libya, Breakway Somali republics. They even stole Socotra island from Yemen.

BS Iranian propoganda.

As to India - It's all business. Care to tell me who is more involved in the security apparatus of the country?
@Maarkhoor @Dawood Ibrahim Pls educate this one trick pony.

BS propaganda, as usual from you. Nothing new. Why is supporting the legitimate govt of Yemen an issue for you?

Don't fall for Indian and Iranian propaganda, Yemen war started when Iranian supplied arms to a small Shia group to start war against Govt of Yemen....They are doing same in Syria but in that case they are helping Asad, Lebanon they have militia more powerful than Govt....

Don't fell pray....
