Turkey to Send Troops to Libya at Tripoli's Request, Erdogan Says

During the Mongol attack on the Mamluks in the Middle East, most of the Mamluks were Kipchaks, and the Golden Horde's supply of Kipchaks replenished the Mamluk armies and helped them fight off the Mongols.

Aybak, Qutuz and Aibars are what?

If they are originally from the Turks clans .... they are brought to Egypt while they are 5 or 6 years old ..... nothing Turkish about them any more .... raised in Egypt, being Muslim in Egypt , building Mosques , schools and Citadels to defend Egypt .... and becoming great warriors in Egypt.

Aybak was a commander in the Ayyubid Army.

Qutuz was a noblemen in the Khwarazmian Empire, Mongols captured him and sold him to a Egyptian slave merchant and he sold him to Aybak, he became Vice Sultan.

Baibars was mid. 20s when he was betrayed and captured in Bulgaria and also ended up in Egypt where he became a Soldier under the Ayyubid rulers and later fought as commander under Qutuz in Ain Jalut.

"As-Salih (Ayyubid Sultan) shut himself in the Cairo citadel, and could no longer trust even the once-loyal Emirs who had brought him to power. The lack of loyal soldiers led him to begin buying large numbers of Kipchak slaves, who were available in unusually large numbers following the Mongol invasions in central Asia. They soon formed the core of his army, and were known as Mamluks."

1. If they were 5/6 years old they wouldn't have Turkic names or would do this... دولة الاتراك‎, Dawlat al-Atrāk; دولة الترك, Dawlat al-Turk
2. They were not 5/6 when ending up in Egypt but grown up men.
3. Nothing on them Turkish, right? That's why they build up an Army of Kichaks, with Turkic military traditions.

I have seen a lot of people like you .... who are dancing on the dead bodies of other Muslims, just to proof he is right ..... people like you who are saying that any one against his ideology is a secular supporting of Dictators .... so disgusting discussion .

My friend take some friendly advice. @Indos is a knowledgable member so it wouldn't be too difficult for him to checkmate you. Continue to debate him but it will be at your own cost because he will embarrass you. If you saw many people dancing on the dead bodies of other Muslims then why did you allow that to happen? No point talking big on a forum that makes you look like a paper tiger. What's disgusting is your inability to respond back to his post with anything substantial.

People like don’t care who is ruling Egypt ... they’re are against the country and it’s people all along and we know that .
You wasn’t here with us during the times of security disturbance and economical difficulties .... you just watching TV and feeling pity for us .

You are comparing Egypt and Indonesia .... that is nonsense , Egypt the country which fought Israel ( the western puppet) 4 times .... comparing it with a neutral country .

You are thousands of miles away from us .... thinking you know about Egyptian , but you’re wrong, we have our legacy.
.

Are you a mind reader? How the hell do you know what @Indos believes in? How would @Indos be there in Egypt with you? He doesn't live in Cairo and is Indonesian. You aren't the sharpest tool in the box so I won't be too hard on you.

Nothing called Turkish Military traditions that time .... the Turks are just a clans fighting each other in Mid Asia.

If he is knowledgeable about something .... there are things he don’t know .... he is not a prophet ...
He is marked me as a secular just because I have disagreed about his fake propaganda ..... and giving us advises .....
here in PDF , just a few members that I take them serious .... as all I see is hate against Arabs .. and the Turkish MOD is supporting that and giving negative ratings to any one oppose their Turkish chest beating .

But if you need to start a good conversation without insulting each other .... with informative opinions.... I’m all yours.

No one said he was a Prophet. How can you determine he has no insight on this topic? We shall see soon whether Egypt responds aggressively. The decision is taken and the Turks will come inside Libya. I seriously doubt Egypt wants to go to war. Most likely it will complain at the UN. The Arabs should sort out there own mess. But they have done a poor job. Thus, if Erdogan is willing to lend a hand to stabilize the country then I personally see no problem. Why didn't Egypt intervene before? I will readily admit my knowledge of this region is lacking.

Those guys are Egyptians, btw.

I couldn't stop laughing for a minute.

You cannot blame Egypt for not interfering earlier .... as we faced some political turmoils that leads to years of arranging the inside Homeland first ..... during that time Ethiopia built the dam and Turkey was roistering in the region since then .... and what we all noticed in Syria and Iraq .... where do you think all those multinational terrorists entered Syria and Iraq ...!? Iran , Jordan , Syria , Iraq .... Non of them as all of them are against ISIS .... Except the countries that take advantage of the situation like Russia , USA and Turkey .... those are the winners in Syria .... Russia had military base inside the warm water in the Mediterranean , USA have ground troops inside the previous Syrian enemies lands and Turkey invaded the northern Syria ..... also Israel declared that Golan heights become an Israeli land .

As for Libya , Egypt suffered a lot from the Terrorists in Libya .... that makes attacks in Egypt including killing the Egyptian attorney General and slaughtering 20 Egyptian Copts in Derna area in 2015... which lead to Egyptian Air Strikes on The Terrorists Camps in Libya then supporting the new fragile LNA to control things in Libya ....

Then happened again that terrorists crossed the boarders and killed tens of Egyptian Copts during a visit by Bus to a monastery in the western desert .... which led to another Air Strikes in 2017.

Then the LNA controlled things in the entire East and southern Libya except for Tripoli and Misrata .....
In the meantime, LNA delivered HISHAM ELASHMAWY no1 wanted Terrorist to Egypt .....

So Egypt is controlling things in Libya but keeping low profile .... but if others intervened , Egyptians will show their teeth.

that’s why we are supporting LNA ... that makes the boarders calm for 2 years now ..... then we found Turkey needs to intervene in Libya with the previous History in Syria ..... so it will be considered as an act of war that will lead to the Egyptian Troops to inter all Barka Region in Eastern Libya.

The West side of Libya/ Surroundings of Tripoli is failing street by street, day by day(they are 8km from the CENTER of Tripoli/3km from any major Military installation)... At this rate, They will be no EGY "boots on the ground" needed...

If GNA wish to have the upper hand or at least some chance... One and only option is Either TR begin a massive Air Campaign or at least, like in Syria with Russia... Make sure that anything flying around the West Coast is denied free entry...

Right now... it's a fight against Time... and TR is running out of it.

If the situation was so dire why did they request help at the last minute? I mean the opposition according to some members on this forum were backed by foreign powers. End of the day I don't know who is right or wrong but I want to see a strong Muslim Govt instead of secularism.

Same Q goes to Syria... why did they wait the Rebels to be at the doors of Damascus to ask Russian help... Because it was the only right time...
GNA was still "Hoping"... till reality kicked in... And as of TR they needed a reason to legitimate their actions... And both Conditions in both sides were answered...
Now... the Q remain is "Will TR op be on Time and if it is... Will TR employ the Right tactic to face it (ie Airstrikes/Side by side Army etc... or just a "supportive" role.)

Right now information on this matter is limited... But acc to some "news"/"Speculation", (that ofc need to be taken with some salt, till official decision)... TR doesn't seem to go toward "Large Air campaign" neither "Side by Side Army"...
But let's wait and see.

I don't really see Turkey going "all in" on this one that easily. The particulars involved are pretty nebulous.
At the same time, I don't think that LNA will reach a breakthrough that easily either.

In Libya, GNA had the "behavior" of backing off the moment fortified points were taken.
And right now... Those last Fortified points before the Center city are under attack...
Many speculate that the Line from Al Sawani to Garyan could be abandoned to fortify the West and Southern Side of Tripoli. And will push the fight inside it.
As for the Eastern side, that is Misrata line... They will be too far and under Airstrikes to maintain a line of supply... Defacto pushing the center city under siege...

I think it's not in Libya either, mostly a vid from TR airbase.
And Nothing about F16 in TN, Pretty sure it's not Tunisia.

TN and ALG try to maintain a neutral ground... by neutral it means following UN line... therefore GNA and by this line... not being against TR op in Libya.
Yes, HAftar isn't THE choice of TN, but still not an Enemy either.

Now, what the future hold is another thing, But even if Haftar take power and threaten TN territorial integrity or safety... It's not like TN(ALONE) can just push for an OP inside Libya... The Army isn't here yet...even though it's in building progress.
But if things get to this point... Algeria & Tunisia will have already put in place an Army against Haftar. We have a point of reality in the region, that is...
Threatening Tunisia Equal Threatening Algeria.

How the hell do you claim the first Mamluk's with Qutuz, Baybars as Egyptian? That's the most retarded thing and anyone who knows a bit of history will laugh at you.
Sorry to hurt your feelings again :(

I suppose a senior member don’t give negative rating to any one oppose his country .... but you did :(

This is the destiny of Great nations .... Barbaric raids all over .... the First defeat to Mongols is done by the Egyptians in AIN JALUT in 1260 ..... during that time the Ottman dynasty was submitting to the Mongols .... and give them Taxes ....

Some of you Turks have no dignity or honor ... stealing other nation’s legacy .... but you are dreaming.

For whom it may concern .... the battle of AIN JALUT.

Is turkey really going to commit troops into propping up GNA? From my point of view, it's only a matter of time until GNA gets rolled over. Depending on how much Turkey commits into Libya, Turkey can reverse this but you can't expect Egypt to stay silent if you do. There's no way Egypt will allow a hostile government to be on it's borders. Not to mention Turkey will be by herself in this while Egypt will have the support of the golf kingdoms and to a lesser extent Russia, France, and US.
