IŞİD militanlarının sızmaları ve kaçak geçişlerin bir türlü önlenememesi üzerine, sınır hattında 3.5 metrelik duvar çekme kararı alındı.

İçişleri Bakanlığı, Suriye sınırında güvenlik kuşağı oluşturulması amacıyla sınır boyundaki dört kentin valiliğine 20 milyon liralık acil ödenek gönderdi.

Bu kapsamda harekete geçen Hatay, Gaziantep, Kilis ve Şanlıurfa valilikleri “güvenlik kuşağı” için ortak proje oluşturdu.Projeye göre; Türkiye ile Suriye arasında bululan 911 kilometrelik sınıra birbirine geçmeli ortalama 3.5 metre yüksekliğinde beton duvarlar yerleştirilecek. Ayrıca, duvarın Türkiye kısmına yol yapılırken, yolun arkasına yüksek tel çit çekilecek. Güvenlik önlemlerinde aydınlatma ve kameralı takip sistemi kurulacak.

Sınırda yaşanan yasadışı geçişlerin tüm müdahalelere rağmen önlenememesi ve kimliği tespit edilemeyen bazı terör örgütü üyelerinin illegal şekilde ülkeye girdiği yönünde sıkça istihbaratlar alınması İçişleri Bakanlığı’nı harekete geçirdi.

DUVAR VE TEL

Bakanlıkta yapılan değerlendirmeler sonrasında, sınır güvenliğinin belirli ölçüde sağlanması amacıyla Hatay, Gaziantep, Kilis ve Şanlıurfa valiliklerine mayıs ayında 5’er milyon liralık özel ödenek gönderdi. Toplam 20 milyon liralık ödeneğin valiliklere ulaşmasıyla birlikte “sınır boyunda güvenlik kuşağı” oluşturmayı sağlamak amacıyla ortak proje çalışması başlatıldı. Proje çalışmaları kapsamında da dört kentin valisi kısa süra önce Hatay’da biraraya geldi. Hatay Valisi Ercan Topaca, Gaziantep Valisi Ali Yerlikaya, Kilis Valisi Süleyman Tapsız ve Şanlıurfa Valisi İzzettin Küçük, eldeki projeleri değerlendirip tek bir proje üzerinde karar verdi.

Valilerin ortak karar aldığı projeye göre güvenlik kuşağı üç aşamalı olacak. Önce sınır çizgisi üzerine yüksekliği en az 3.5 metre olacak beton bloklar yerleştirilecek.Birbirine geçmeli biçimde dökülecek beton blokların, başka yerlere taşınmasını kolaylaştırmak amacıyla parçalı biçimde dökülmesi benimsendi.

MEKSİKA DUVARI GİBİ

ABD’nin Meksika sınırına yaptığıne benzer biçimde inşa edilecek beton bolakların hemen arkasına Türkiye toprakları içine sınır boyunca güvenlik amaçlı hızlı ve kolay ulaşımı sağlamak için asfalt ya da beton kullanılacak yol yapılacak. Bu yolun hemen arkasına ise yine yüksekliği olan çelik tel çit çekilecek. Ayrıca, bu güvenlik kuşağının 24 saat boyunca izlenmesi için termal kamera sistemi ve sınır boyu aydınlatma sistemi yerleştirilecek.

EK ÖDENEK SİNYALİ

Yapılması planlanan sınır güvenlik hattının maliyetinin yüksek olması nedeniyle ek ödenek gönderilebileceği kaydedildi. Bu kapsamda; aynı zamanda son seçimde Gaziantep’ten miletvekili seçilen Maliye Bakanı Mehmet Şimşek’in 10 milyon lira ek ödenek gonderilmesi için girişimde bulunduğu öğrenildi.

ABD Meksika sınırına 1080 kilometre ördü

ABD, 3145 kilometre sınırı bulunan Meksika’dan özellikle uyuşturucu kartelerini ve Kaçak göçmenleri engelleyemeyince özellikle yerleşim birimlerinin yakın olduğu bölgelere 2006-2009 yıllarında 1080 kilometrelik duvar örmüştü. Ancak duvar için harcanan 2.4 milyon dolar ABD’de büyük tatışmalara neden olmuş, sonuçta hem uyuşturucu kaçakçılarını hem de kaçak göçmenleri engellemede yetersiz kalmıştı. ABD yönetimi şimdi kalan 1126 kilometrelik sınıra da duvar örmek istiyor.

also 3,5 meters are not enough it should be 4,5 meters and 3 meter thick

Well Georgia is not really infested with terrorists and it is a friendly country for us right now. And it will also be the first caucasus nation that will join the EU as well.

So it is ok to have no wall between the two nations.

I'd love it more if Azerbaijan would build walls on the borders with Iran and Russia while Georgia does the same for Russia.

We would then be locked in a closed area with Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Maybe they are building it because of the imminent Kurdish state in North Syria called Rojava, not because of Syrians or ISIS, they would have done it years ago. You can see Turks on internet Forums are not comfortable having Kurdish state next to them and consider them a bigger threat than ISIS.

No, it is only to control our borders. It is not specifically aimed at any special group.

Once we have the wall set up, we will be able to effectively control our borders as all the wall will also be covered with IR-cameras with smart cencors and lightning. And a road is gonna be built behind all across the wall uniting the outposts so that the border security forces will easily and effectively be able to arrive to the points of the wall where people gather.

Many outposts across the wall will also be built with towers.

No one will be able to cross our borders without digging a tunnel then.
