You mean like how Iran practiced its "western values" but then its legitimate government was overthrown by the CIA? You should have mentioned conforming to US interest as one of your "western values".

Its due to wrong policies of trump and his team fell in lobby against turkey. This is futile effort to corner turkey. Turkey is also part of Nato. I think turkey should also keep good relation with China and Russia . Always keep your option open. Turkey is brave country and it can resist U.S.A sanctions.
