Turkey slaps retaliatory tariff hikes on US-made goods worth $553M

.
EU duplicity in the membership talks proves their ill intentions for Turkey. Germany and other countries funding PKK only confirms the reality.

Turkey was always viewed as an enemy by the West.

I am happy that Turks have woken up from this and recovered their identity.

.
Stop fighting all the emerging markets are down now due to instability.

Turkey is a dysfunctional state. Few months back it messed with Russia. Now, it is messing with US and EU.Turkey is behaving like an immature child.
Only fools believe that countries are unchangeable allies.

Fom Bosnia to Afghanistan, from Lebanon to Somalia, from Korea to Cyprus and of all eastern parts of Mediterranean : Turkey is NATO's most active second force . Turkey is active and strong in the intersection of three continents within UN , Nato or within independent initiative.

Our alliance with our westerners does not have a master-slave history like the colonial past of India. First you have to find out. Turkey has a long history which is much more than Turkish republic or ottoman state . We will continue to struggle of the purpose of this country's existence. Whether with our allies or alone ...

.
I think its about time to make inter-Nation Trade Agreements between all the US-Trade War affected countries.
We cannot Bet our economies on a country that starts a trade war over a religious preacher at all.
We should put aside our differences for our own Economic Survival sake. Untill and Unless Trump Administration is in power USA is a Sick Mental with way too much power.
China, Russia, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Philippines, Eastern Europe, Central Asia.
Not to make any Anti-US block or a military union but some sort of Inter-Trade agreement independent of US Dollar and Western Markets. We want to be Pro Developing world Economic block not Anti- Developed World block.
and sorry Indian no offense but you are really behaving like A**Ho*** supporting this mad dog Trump over Turkey, Pakistan, China even your close Ally Iran. Stop Sucking Up and Get into Reality. We are developing countries despite our differences on Regional issues we need to safeguard our future and Putting your Eggs in Western Basket is not a good policy. We need to stand together against this Trade and Economic madness.

Yes yes, and rapistan is very functional, we can all see that. Go, get in the act, perhaps you're jerking off in front of your mother as we speak.

Turkish foreign policy is a big mess. They don't even know themselves which side they are on?Do they even have any friends except Pakistan and Kosovo?

Give it a rest man. These nationalist delusions are 20th century stuff.Day of empires is over.Just focus on better lives and great economy.Instead you are fighting with your main trading partners over ideological, religious and nationalist bullshit. And no turkey will not shake the world - doesnt have the size, population or natural resources to be superpower. Its not china.A regional power -sure.But you are already that.Your economic boom is based on huge loans from european banks who will now take their pound of flesh.Meanwhile erdogan gives bullshit religious and nationalist sentiment speeches to keep you in thrall while he and his family enjoy unlimited power and loot billions. Its the same with dictators everywhere.

We can see the frustrations in rapistan. There are more surprises waiting for the US minions.

They can't, their weak currency is drowning so they need strong American dollars

Shameless stooge you are!

Your sick mentality of bringing Muslim and Islam everywhere has a Garbage value which you can enjoy. I quite discussion with you.

Oh come on, nothing can be sicker than offering cattle cola and lynching everywhere you go, you know it, don't you?

Great move by Turkey.

If every small-medium state slaps back the US instead of buckling down, the US will not be easily able to take on a whole world.

Great news for those that are on real bull's eye, like China and Russia.

If Apple does not need Turkey's market, they can leave it for Huawei and Samsung.

As McDonalds commercial used to say: I am loving it!

Might fit some German companies in, as well, for their unfaithful behavior during Syrian refugee crisis. They promised a certain amount, let Turkey in so many refugees, and then back down their word.

Germany is unreliable.

They enjoy trade surplus. Selling machinery and chemicals to Turkey and buying some farm products and textile.

The United States also has great pressure on Germany. Germany is as uncomfortable as many other countries. These irrational policies of the United States are now a global discomfort.

There is a huge opportunity for China . In this economic world-war, China's positive factor will open many new doors for you.

Turkey's sphere of influance covers Middle East, Turkic states, Balkans and some of Africa continent with multiple military bases and economic relations. I would consider Turkey as an emerging power instead of "small-middle" category.

If Apple does not need Turkey's market, they can leave it for Huawei and Samsung.

We have our own manufacturers which are quiet good, we don't need Samsung or chinese brands.

Uncle Sam needs to borrow a ton of money this week — in the middle of a fight with its biggest creditor. The United States plans to sell about $294 billion of debt, according to the Treasury Department. That's the highest for a week since the record set during the 2008 financial crisis.

Federal revenue is declining because of President Trump's tax cuts, so the government needs to borrow more to make ends meet. At the same time, Washington's borrowing costs have climbed rapidly in recent months.

"The amount of debt coming on the market this week is extremely large," said Rick Rieder, global chief investment officer of fixed income at BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager.
