"According to HaberTurk, Turkish Aerospace has begun developing a deceiver drone in April, 2019. The drone, which is below 100 kilograms, will have a speed of 1.4 Mach, and is going to be controlled by Turkey's 5th Generation Fighter."

Any news?

Is this actually goksungur or different project???

Is this actually goksungur or different project???
In recent reports, it is mentioned as what Haberturk reported back in 2019. I was wondering because 5 days ago, it was mentioned in a Russian propaganda:

Seems, Operation Spring Shield was terrifying for some as it gives you an idea of the future capabilities :)

  1. Wingman drone (~100kg and 1,4 Mach speed) compatible with swarm formation flight with TF-X fighters. First flight will be done in 2020.
  2. Strategic drone. TAI developed Aksungur and It is waiting order from SSB. Another strategic drone to be powered with gas turbine engine is offered to Ukraine army. Ukrainian institutes introduced mock up in their defense fairs. If Ukraibe Army accept TAI strategic drone, It will be produced for Ukraine army by Antonov.

3. TISU - Stealth unmanned fighter concept. I believe TAI calls this program as Göksungur. Most likely, we will see it until 2022/23.

4. Sinsi must be swarm attack drone program of TAI with much longer range than STM Kargu and Alpagu swarm drones.

In this field, Vestel has developed anti-radiation and kamikaze drones (~1000+km range) to replace Israeli Harpy and SSB will order this drones from Vestel If It prove itself in harsh trials done in these years. Aselsan is providing Ka-band Rf seeker head + E/O called Atmaca, and warhead from Tübitak SAGE.

Why does media insist that it's called Göksungur?

I think Temel Kotil mixed the projects while talking about them. While he was talking about a bird name given to a program, He implied another one. At final, Noone understood anything. I believe This roadmap can enlighten the projects better.

TEI-PD222 engine is developing to meet the power needs of MALE (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) class unmanned aerial vehicles.

With 220HP (± 2) power target at departure, serial two-stage turbocharging system, high altitude capability, low fuel consumption, lightweight aluminum block design, it will go ahead of its competitors in the market and bring the capabilities of the platforms it is used to a higher class.

Turkish Aerospace Industries has developed a new wing for ANKA UAV. The wing is said to be adaptive and has no extrusions such as flaps. This has given Anka payload capacity increase from 250kg to 350kg and the addition of two more pylons, allowing Anka to carry more munitions.
