Turkey makes every effort for liberation of Azerbaijan’s occupied territories

Turkey makes every effort for liberation of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said, Turkish Hurriyet newspaper reported on April 11.

With this, Ankara also tries to improve the relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as Turkey and Armenia, according to Davutoglu.

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. As a result of the ensuing war, in 1992 Armenian armed forces occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts.

The two countries signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russia, France and the U.S. are currently holding peace negotiations.

Armenia has not yet implemented the U.N. Security Council's four resolutions on the liberation of the Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding regions.

With emphasis on "all" Azeri lands...

Despite Azerbaijan being a majority Shia, the Iranian regime has sided with Armenia in the Karabakh issue. Azeris on both the Northern and the occupied Southern side should be united together once again. After all, it was the Azeri Turks’ Safavdis wars that gave Iran its size today.

Long live Güney Azerbaijan.

Crimean tatars went to Russia, now they want to avenge it against Armenia, however there again they can't do anything because of Russia. Russia is already annoyed with Turkish role in Syria and Ukraine.
Syria is on our border. Not on border of Russia. What happens in Syria affects us the most.

Actually Iran made a big mistake because Armenia was grabbing more lands from Azerbaijan, but we started to warn them to stop. So aliev should kiss our feets.

Iran called for an immediate withdrawal of ethnic Armenian forces from Azerbaijan today, amid reports that Teheran had sent troops to Azerbaijan.

In a statement, the Iranian Foreign Minister warned of "heightened tensions in the region," stressing that Teheran "would not remain silent vis-a-vis growing unrest across Iranian borders."

The statement added that Teheran called on the Armenian Government to end its aggression toward Azerbaijan.

Iran shares a 230-mile border with Azerbaijan. Armenians recently captured the Azerbaijan town of Fizuli, 20 miles north of the Iranian border.

Analysts say Iran has strengthened its military position on both sides of the border, fearing that the five-year-old conflict over the disputed enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh, which is predominantly Armenian, could spill over into Iran.

I think you need to study more about the history of the region, because from your comments it seems you're not aware of many facts about Armenia-Azerbaijan war, Safavids etc.

It's quite disappointing to see Turkish members promoting Azeri separatism in Iran. I'm yet to see any Iranian member doing the same for Kurds in Turkey.

Just mind your own business, ok sand dweller?

He doesn't really care, it actually goes both ways, we would like to see Saudi weakened, and they would like to see the same for Iran.

Make your point clear please. Don't throw a link without pointing out to your argument.
1.The safawiya ideology and ancestors were from and formed by Iranian peoples, later they mixed into turks also, just like how some abbasids were half persians.

2. Iran was neutral in the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan and even warned Armenia to stop their advance else Iranian military would take control of the situation. In the beginning of the war Iran wanted to help Azerbaijan, however their president Elcibey started to claim Iranian Azerbaijan province. Then Iranian attitude towards the conflict changed.

Lets not twist facts, ok? When the Safavid Empire was actually formed, it was done so by Turks, and Ismail was a Turk and spoke Azerbaijani Turkish as his native language (which was also the language of his other side, the Aq-Qoyunlu), just like his father and grandfather (whom had already a big amount of followers from Turkic tribes). His maternal grandfather on the other hand was Uzun Hasan, the Aqqoyunlu king, who was also the uncle of his father.

And its not all about Ismail and his ancestors either, Safavid Empire was at the same time a Qizilbash Empire too. The Safaviyya order was always prominently followed by Turkic tribes. The court and military language of Safavids is a good clue, if your Pan-Farsist brains can see through it.

As for your lies about Iran's stance on Karabakh conflict, keep them to yourself. You Farsis just disgust me with your lies and just being so two-faced.

Well, Atatwolf said "With emphasis on "all" Azeri lands..."
I could be wrong, but he was probably thinking of Iranian Azerbaijan too. That's probably why our sand dweller friend Fullmoon opened his mouth talking about how Azerbaijan should be reunited again.
Atatwolf liked his post by the way.
