TURKEY is developing hunter-killer Drone to destroy other UCAVs

What is the difference between TB2 and TB3?

TB3 will be able land on TCG Anadolu and will have MTOW of 1200 kg. It will be bigger and faster drone. The latest Turkish navy doctrine is using drone from LHD ships. A mini AC but for drone, and ther will be 30 TB avaible the same time 10 TB3 capable to fly the same time. And helicopters and landforces equipments will be the same time on the ship.

Another vision from our armed forces. First in his kind TCG Anadolu.

How many TB3s can the TCG Anadolu carrying on board at one go?

The mind-boggling part is that we had the chance to right shotgun on this since the mid-2000s.

What really gets me is how Pakistan doesn’t partner with Turkey on critical military R&D in engines, UCAVs, Space Technology etc. Pakistan continues to miss important opportunities simply because of a lack of imagination by its security planners.

Even in the civilian domain similar lethargy is seen. Imagine if Pakistan worked with Turkey on electrical vehicle technology and trains. Pakistan will kickstart an industrial revolution which will put it in a position to see a massive economic growth within a decade. But focus of the state is to continue wasting billions each year on PSM, PIA and other SOEs that serve no meaningful purpose. Such a pity!

What do you expect when even those who should know spread misinformation about Turkey's efforts and capabilities.

We had senior Pakistanis on this very forum say stuff about Turkey just assembling Western stuff and totally ignore Aselsan designing original equipment. If this is what the 'wise' guys say, then you can imagine where everyone else falls.

I bet none of them even know about what Motor Sich can do for engines, or care that Turkey is trying to buy a 50% stake in it. Well, our conceit and ignorance catching up to us. I will bet you that India is likelier to co-invest with Turkey on stuff than we are.

Ironic: the two nations that we collectively mocked or dismissed are the ones who've taken the lead on us (by a measure of many leagues) in technology development.

Platform designed to carry 12 fixed-wing aircraft (F-35B) and related technicals, types of equipment for typical (not maximum) LAC mission profile. Hence, the capacity of 12/20 TB3 could say apart from the rotary-wing platforms. All modifications to the ship are not just related to the flight deck. Probably a much more extensive UAV control station being created. Not just air vehicles, but also sea vehicles are the other part of this.

A senior team from Baykar recently made detailed examinations on the ship. TB3 will be the first intermediate solution for TCG Anadolu in the upper-end tactical class. The main purpose will proceed on the concept of amphibious assault shaped over completely unmanned systems.

Akıncı's mass production is scheduled for 2021. The year 2022 is could be given as the possible date for TB3. The year 2023 is the first flight date of MIUS for Baykar; and from that date on, it will constitute the company's main field of activity. On the other hand, a team at TAI is working on a navy variant for the Hurjet project. Also in the TAI UAV section, there is a turbofan UAV project called GÖKSUNGUR (possibly a loyal wing).

That is to say, instead of the current capacity of the TCG Anadolu, it is necessary to look that works are moving in which direction. Therefore, even the TCG Anadolu ship itself is an intermediate step of this study. All of these will advance together with the relevant doctrinal studies of the navy.

Ability > Quantity

12 to 20 TB3s. Don't you think it can carry more since the TB3s are much smaller then F-35B. I am thinking in the ball park of 40-50

Pakistanbis a reactive country. We are taught the teacher is always right. We never think ahead or laterally. We just don't want to lead. This is correct for the Pakistan India Sri Lanka Bangladesh area. Submissive thinking sadly
