Turkey, India kick off festival to honor cultural ties

@Cobra Arbok

This is about Indian soft power, and the **** trolls are right to be afraid. Go next door to Azerbaijan; you'll find government to government solid relations between them and Pakistan - their defence minister figured prominently in the Pakistan National Day celebrations - but talk to the people and mingle with them, and you will find the only country outside India that celebrates Holi spontaneously.

Thanks for the reference anyway, for personal, family reasons.

What is in that asterisk I wonder? :p :p

Anyhow the first to mention Pakistan in an Indian turkey relations and cultural event thread were Indians themselves and the op rather than ignoring the only Pakistani who came partook in the trolling which resulted in his thread being destroyed and the topper was an Iranian who got a positive rating from you rather than being berated for complaining about Pakistanis talking about iran in an Indian Turkish thread which was not just offtopic but clear attempt to troll Pakistani members.

So rather than there being active discussion on the topic of Turkish India relations where we could have went into historical, cultural, lingual and social aspects we now have Pakistanis about Iran, the conservatism of erdogan, the importance of turkey, Taiwan, India e.t.c and also how Pakistan may have state to state relations but India has people to people relations with Azerbaijan...

Well done to all the participants of this thread.

I simply gave them a reality check.

Thread was made to further the erroneous idea that Pakistan is isolated.

MBS, Erdogan, MBZ, Mahathir. Far from isolated.
Waisay rehnay daitay. Look this thread would not have made any gain or loss to that ridiculous notion and I doubt that was the intention. The op nowhere mentioned isolation but posted the article about a cultural event. The op was wrong in bringing Pakistan to this thread but I don't think the idea was further give wind to the concept of Pakistan isolation...
Anyway thread is lost

Sorry, not here, not now. Here nothing but trolling is tolerated. I refused, on principle, to engage even on very serious posts made by an eminent authority, because I believe all posts are being distorted and twisted, and no intelligent conversation can take place.

The asterisks stand for F, O, O and L. What else? Now, about that legacy iron structure going dirt cheap that I wanted to talk to you about....

Penalizing good discussion is always detrimental to any discussion platform.. I havent been around these last few days. Has it been that bad?

Hmmm if a serious discussion can take place between two members even if interrupted by trolls then that discussion must take place and the interruption either reported or ignored... Rejection will not help anyone and least of all the platform itself.

Thought you were swearing. :p :p

Anytime.

Ohh, the obsession for Pakistan is intense. These people live on the thought of Pakistan

They disappeared and now they are slowly coming back again.

This forum was so much better without these clowns, we actually debated some very heavy topics and had positive discussions.

Janab, all Pakistanis these days are united on this forum. We have seen the evil and wickedness in the hearts of our enemy and come out stronger.

Next time don’t be so quick to label your fellow Pakistani. We must stand together. Jazak Allah khairan.

OK..

If he is wrong then he is wrong. :p :p

Look let me just say this. This forum is not called Indian defence forum. Its Pakistan defence forum and a platform available to the entire world where we can showcase the culture of Pakistan. If every thread is derailed and becomes a slinging contest then the value and stature of this forum decreases which means that a very good platform to showcase the nature of Pakistan becomes diminished and this harms us. If any Indian or anybody else tries to derail the thread then our responsibility is not to ruin the thread but to report him, ignore him and continue with the fruitful discussion to highlight that Pakistanis are intellectual people that can maintain their cool and focus and intellectual prowess even when bombarded with trolling. The mods are quick and they do take action...

That's what I believe.

@Karna_007 should have been here. He would kept this thread civil, constructive and on-topic.

Cultural exchanges are very important. Diplomacy builds a need based temprrory friendship, cultural exchanges build people to people friendship which is a true friendship long lasting in nature.
