Turkey hosted 30 million visitors in 10 months of 2017

You need to pay more attention, since most users argued that a country needs less cheap all-inclusive tourists and more of the sightseeing, culturually interested and thus more money spending tourists.

I wouldnt go to Antalya or Alanya if they gave me money, thats how bad it is during the summer months.

My comment was directed at that one individual who will try and turn any positive news related to Turkey and twist it to make things look negative. The rest of the discussion I agree though. There are different types of tourists, and targeting the ones who spend the most money is certainly what every country should do.

Turkey earns $25-$30 billion per year just by tourism. And that’s when Turkish tourism sector is not fully developed yet like Spain or France...and unfortunately suffered from Syrian civil war and all the fallout in terms of attacks in major tourist cities.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Turkey surpasses Italy and Spain in terms of tourist attraction in coming decades. Turkey is a far bigger country than both and has significantly better cuisine.

Ps, it’s a country where Greek, Roman, Islamic, and Anatolian civilizations and their history meet. A truly stunning combination.

I know a person who went to Italy, Greece, and Turkey about 8 months ago. He said that Turkish cuisine is SIGNIFICANTLY superior to much hyped Italian food. @ValerioAurelius

Hmm:

"The two governments clashed again in 2015 when Turkey offered asylum to Uighur refugees detained in Thailand whom China had demanded back."

Its like China offering asylum to PKK terrorists detained in Iraq who we would demand back..
