There Abrams are locally upgraded and there Apaches and F-15 don't have any strings attached with them

Their apaches are not longbow also i believe Israeli F-15's are more advanced then those ones of ksa

These abrams are heavily downgraded compared to us army abrams

The saudi guy claimed they can buy the best which is simply not true.

So many wrong claims in one post.:disagree:

The only correct claim is that involving the Leopard 2 tanks and Germany.

Why are people trying to hijack the positive developments between KSA and Turkey?

But i'm glad to see a rising unition in the Middle East, West Asia and North Africa. I don't see it as a "muslim" block, rather i see it as a geographic block rising for the betterment of the region.

Said KSA invested in Chinese FC31 stealthy fighter, can you shed some light on it? Do you have any source from insider in KSA? Please help out

so your abrams with inferiour armour and tank shells, apaches without longbow capability and downgraded f15's are as advanced as US military ones OKAY :omghaha:

Do you even know what you are blabbering about? How about reading about the upgraded versions that KSA use of all 3. Where did anyone claim what you are claiming? However your initial post made it sound like KSA was buying junk while this could not be further from the truth.

Does this sound like junk or "with strings attached" to you?

The F-15SA is the most advanced production F-15 Eagle ever built. Saudi Arabia ordered 84 new build F-15SAs and close to 70 kits to upgrade their existing F-15S fleet to the SA configuration. Just one part of this upgrade is the activation of Eagle’s outboard wing stores stations, which will expand the jet’s already heavy combat punch.

Update: Boeing reached out to tell us they’re marketing the F-15SA configuration for export to other potential users as the “F-15 Advanced.”

A Saudi Arabian F-15S sits on the main ramp at Nellis AFB during Red Flag
The F-15SA is an incredibly capable machine, featuring some key changes from its progenitor, the F-15E Strike Eagle. These include a full fly-by-wire flight control system, APG-63V3 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar, digital electronic warfare and radar warning suite, missile launch detection system, updated flat-panel display cockpits with helmet mounted displays in both cockpits and an infrared search and track system, known as “Tiger Eyes,” built into the left intake targeting pod pylon. The F-15SA also features F-110- GE-129 engines, capable of putting out almost 30,000 pounds of thrust each.

When it comes to weapons, the F-15SA can carry almost anything in the inventory. In the incredible image above showing an “extreme multi-role loadout” it packs: 2x AIM-120AMRAAMs, 2x AIM-9X Sidewinders, 2x AGM-84 SLAM-ERs, 2x AGM-88 HARMs, 6x GBU-54/B Laser JDAMs, and 8x GBU-39/B Small Diameter Bombs.

Also, the F-15SA still packs the F-15E’s 20mm Vulcan cannon with 540 rounds available. Basically, with this jet you get a tactical fighter force “in a box.” The loadout shown above includes weapons for long-range stand-off deep-strike, suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD), counter-air, direct precision attack and standoff precision attack all on the jet at the same time. Even after all that, the F-15SA’s center-line station remains unused, which can accommodate up to a 2,000lb JDAM, an external fuel tank or even a synthetic aperture radar surveillance pod.

The image above shows the F-15SA once again, albeit this time it is in an air-to-air configuration, including no less than eight AIM-120 AMRAAMs and eight AIM-9X Sidewinders. This amounts to double the missile carrying capability of the F-15C or F-15E. Also note the Infrared Search and Track system mounted above the jet’s radome. This, combined with its state of the art radar’s low probability of intercept modes, advanced radar warning receiver and Link 16 data-link, allows the F-15SA to hunt for enemy aircraft in electromagnetic silence while still maintain high-situational awareness.

Boeing’s Silent Eagle features internal weapons bays in its conformal fuel tanks and low-observable improvements such as canted tails, radar absorbent coatings and radar blockers on its engine fan faces. The aircraft can be converted to a large load carrying non-stealthy configuration much like the F-15SA in a matter of hours.

Many of the improvements made in the penultimate F-15SA were also rolled into the even more advanced and stealthier F-15 Silent Eagle, an aircraft that has not found a customer in the fighter marketplace yet, especially since South Korea chose to procure the F-35 on its last fighter buy and other F-15 operators, like Japan, Israel, also did the same. Even if the Eagle line ends with the F-15SA, it is amazing how far the aircraft has come since its original use as an attack aircraft some 30 years ago.

What is your point anyway and how relevant is that to the points that I and other users have talked about in this thread?

Said KSA invested in Chinese FC31 stealthy fighter, can you shed some light on it? Do you have any source from insider in KSA? Please help out

There is not much information out there other than what has already been written. Sadly, I cannot help you but maybe others will know more?

I can tag some users here that might know something more.

@The SC @Bubblegum Crisis

Anyway I can give you a call here if I see news about this from Saudi Arabian/Arab media or Arab military forums.

.
My point is you can't buy the best available weapons even if your pay the highest amount of money that's it, however i agree i was wrong about your f15's it seems quite good

lol research before embarrassing yourself.

Saudi Arabia might have invested in the FC-31, but in fact this might be just rumours, Chinese navy just said that the stealth fighter plane will be inducted on the Chinese Aircraft Carriers.. this points to a no need for foreign R&D investments.. with this development, Pakistan will be able to induct the FC-31, others too, since it is made for export..
Saudi Arabia might be interested in the J-20 though..

KSA does not get the best western weapons, look Abrams mbt is downgraded, their apaches and f15 are with strings attached.

Germany refused to sell leopard 2's eventhough they offer huge money
The reason might be the transfer of technology.. Germans are the last to share their best tech outside NATO!

so your abrams with inferiour armour and tank shells, apaches without longbow capability and downgraded f15's are as advanced as US military ones OKAY :omghaha:
Saudi Apaches have long bow, The F-15 SA are tailor made for KSA, they are the most advanced with the Avionics of the F-15 Silent Eagle and the modified/advanced frames of the F-15S.. The Abrams are not bad at all they are not downgraded in anyway but they are not the latest version..the only shells they are missing are the uranium based/tipped ones which only the US has..

You think that Turkey and Turks care about KSA or Arabs or that they will come to our aid when/should we be in trouble? Since when? Also when has the US/West prevented weapons sale/support when we most needed it? The US for instance is a crucial partner in the current war in Yemen. Much more important/crucial than Turkey.

Turkey is for more than 3 million Arab refugees a save heaven right know. For God's sake, stop acting like Saudi Arabia is the center of the Arab world. Why do you constantly exaggerate Saudi's influence and image in the Middle Eastern? The majority of Iraqis, Syrians, Yemenis and Algerians can't even stand you. You know this fact. Arab Shia hate you more than anything else on this planet. Oman's position is neutral. Qatar is pro-Turkey, Somalia is pro-Turkey. If you ask an average Sunni Arab whether he favors Turkey over Saudi Arabia, he'll probably state that Turkey (~60%) and Saudi Arabia (~60%) are equally important for him/her. If you ask an educated Sunni Arab the same question he'll definitely point towards Turkey. You need to keep your feet on the ground and remain realistic.

Sometimes you simply act like a spoiled child who thinks that the Middle Eastern owes Saudi Arabia everything. Your behaviour casts a poor light on Saudi Arabia.

Btw, receiving ToT is no guarantee for technological progress. Governance and good administrational structures are far more important. China and to a lesser extent Iran & Turkey are proving this point.

:crazy::rofl::omghaha:

Non-Arabs who know very little about the Arab world, who do not speak Arabic and who have no idea about internal Arab relations should really avoid making such moronic claims that are backed up by nothing (I can claim that Turkey is hated by all Muslims except for Pakistanis, Bosnians and a few others, lol, or that the moon is made up of cheese) and contrary to the reality. Arabs, when they voice disproval/criticism it is always aimed at the leadership never the people, country etc. In short my head began to hurt after reading that butthurt nonsense which has nothing to do with the thread nor the legitimate and necessary discussions that 4-5 Arab users have had in this thread 4 of which are from KSA which this news relates to.

And what I wrote initially is the true.

Its visa versa, neither did Turks receive help from Arabs when they needed it the most, everybody is looking for his own interests which is fine.
I for exsample am against being enemy with Israel for emotional reasons, thank god the goverment backed from this mistake which hurt us more than helped in any way.
Its a simple fact that a possible gas pipeline from Israel will help Turkey way more than brownie points from Arabs, even Erdogan who likes to play the religion card got it.
