Definitely not good for Akp Party. Erdogan is a good leader. He has done well for Turkey. Made Turkey a rising power again.

However he still has some big negatives such as he is Islamist and he makes immature statements to please his islamic voters. Many problems with his policies. Anti USA anti China Anti Russia up until recently. Anti Syria Anti Kurd Anti Europe with his statements.

I like Erdogan but it does seem like he is making too many religious statements. What he should be doing is making turkey stronger by building relations with Europe and USA and on the other hand build relations with Russia China Iran Pakistan Malaysia Qatar Syria Iraq Lebanon.
I would add Algeria and Morocco as well
