If any country should take refugees, it should be the US. It was involved in the beginning and has created a huge mess in their failed adventures in Libya and Iraq. Netherlands already on board. Most Europeans are not that committed to supporting tyrants in the Muslim world like Germany and France are. A compromise is definitely possible.

LOL EU is responsible for the mess it created for Turkeye. It was EU nations who announced that they will go in Syria even if united states leaves. When they need free oil they wanted to do their dirty stuff but now they don't want refugees which are caused by them. There is no military branch of the EU. If You do not know this, you should really not be posting.
The countries from Europe present in Syria are there due to Terrorist attacks on their civilians.
