This territory alleged to be gifted was never under Pakistan control nor we had any presence therefore no justification in claiming it, infact China ceded to Pakistan 750 square miles that had its presence.A recognized historical boundary never existed in the region.

Pakistan inherited some maps from British that showed these areas as part of British empire however they were disputed from Chinese perspective.Nevertheless the very own 1899 line by British showed theses as Chinese areas so there was always an inhouse debate on this from the beginning.Had we been stubborn the issue would have been disputed to date and unresolved.We could have fought wars over the uninhabited mountains like india did in 1962 and lost aksai chin. Infact massive western military support to India in the Sino-Indian war of 1962 made the decision easy for Pakistan ... so we instead used the moment to develop a new geo-strategic ally.. 60 years is a small time to see fruits of a conflict that involves three nuclear rivals..Over time Pakistan and China have developed a doctrine for Indian threat in this region.

2)Separation from East Pakistan was in our best interest however it happened in a wrong way , we sholuld have had a friendly Bangladesh.We could have very well got back control of East Pakistan had we adopted Polish Resolution at UN but Bhutto tore it up for his own politics , That has also left us high and dry making us surrender instead of of a peaceful withdrawal in a timely manner under UN umbrella.

3)Siachin was a no man zone..Point NJ9842 onwards there was no LoC,no demarcation till karakoram pass and thats how it is to date...Just because indian troops moved in there doesnt change anything on map.

4) Read what Bruce Reidel says onhow Nawaz fled to US with his family(against wishes of Army) fearing Army take over and how he was chihtrolled by Bill Clinton into go back and call Army to vacate newly conquered positions..BTW if we lost Kargil how did we still occupy 6 new territory positions, as per Indias own reports operation vijay failed as it could only take back tiger hill.

I have seen this joker on Mall Road Rawalpindi with only a few hundred workers in the mid-80s while Muslim League was being revived by Gen. Zia Ul Haq. He was a creation of Zia.
