TTP scums crossing border after destroying the fence.

Your argument is very illogical. Hundreds of soldiers have laid down their lives, and to honour their sacrifices, these cameras should have been installed since they provide additional protection to the Soldiers, and also infrastructure from any damage. Dude, if you dont know the basics of Project Management, then there is no point arguing with you.
Your argument is childish. First thing is to install the fence. Even fence is not yet completed. Then we have to built forts if you have so much money for cameras and drones then give them they would install them the moment they install fence at one place. And even after all these security arrangements even then fence can be crossed. Ever heard of word tunnel ?

Sure Mr Genius, you are the man ..... or MAYBE NOT ! And that is why this Forum is going down in standards - just look at the standard-less quality of your post. Please learn some basics a bit more for God sake - you are suppose to be an "Elite member". :omghaha:

These are all tools in one's arsenal. The fence may not be 100% effective, but if it's even 50% effective (or even more), it's a great resource. It's not meant to solve all your problems. The rest of the gaps have to be filled using other tools.

So how would you deal with it ?
Please provide your all encompassing solution along with estimates on costs.

Sorry to say.
Had they been serious about border management, they wouldn't have just fenced 1,600 mi of border. Precious lives died in vain. No need to say more, all is understood.

Not so easy against determined opposition.
See this today's news.
Another Pakistan terror-tunnel found in Jammu, 4th in last 6 months
The tunnel appears to be six to eight years old and it has been found at the same place where BSF had shot down a Pakistani drone last year on June 20, said the BSF IG.

Another Pakistan made terror-tunnel was detected on Saturday in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir in the same area, where the Border Security Force (BSF) had shot down a Pakistani drone ferrying arms and ammunition barely seven months ago."

Unless the pak Afghanistan border is Rocky, tunneling is always a option.

A fence is still needed to define the border. It is not just a defense but a political statement.
Afghanistan never accepted this border ever since the British first defined it. Which is why Afghanistan never recognized Pakistan when it was formed in 1947 ( the only country to do so ). No government in Afghanistan friendly or hostile has ever recognized the border as it exists. Not even the superficially friendly/ Pakistan neutral Taliban recognize the border.
Pakistan's overwhelming military superiority has prevented any government in Afghanistan from militarily challenging the border.
But there are many ways to skin a cat. By keeping non-state actors active ( regardless of their color) all Afghan governments hope to wear down Pakistan's will to defend its border. From the Afghan POV, hopefully in time, coupled with military support from a strong Afghan government a successful insurrection in the KPK will result in the loss of that territory. But it goes further than that . The Afghans are well aware of their history and would like to restore their past glory when the Ghurid, Ghazni and Durrani empires ruled much of what is Pakistan today. Afghanistan considers all of Pakistan as its own territory, and that goes for all Afghan governments .
The fence is therefore an impediment because it defines Pakistan,

Non-state actors are supported by the local warlord in power in that sector of the fence.

The fence will only work once the consequences of violating it are driven home. Strikes across the border will deliver the message.

So no one else in India can dig a tunnel and pose it as Pakistani for their domestic propaganda ???

the comments here are just like statements those creatures infesting Europe make about Muslims and Africans. Just like the comments the Americans make about Hispanics and immigrants. Don't complain when you are kicked out of the lands controlled by others.

You have a point, but today's military drones can overcome much of the harsh weather in their path.
Yes but the very best ones
Military drones such as a Wing Loong II can fly as high as 9,900 m (32,000 ft. approx.). At those altitudes the risk of ice on the camera lenses is high. The camera lenses are protected from icing by heated air vented from the engine or by electrical heater blowers. The camera pod glass may also have built in heater elements like we have in the rear windshield of our cars and miniature wipers or air jet.
Snow flakes should not be a problem.

Even drones have limitations. They can't fly all the time. I am surprised these terrorists were wearing black dresses. An easy target for an armed drone. With the snow, white camouflage would have made sense.
Main problem was severe weather itself

Sorry to say - that is you running away from what is cheap baseless accusations without actually knowing the cost of the project, cost of constant patrols and really the cost of many proposals given here. Typical Pakistani mentality of knowledgeless critique from drawing rooms without bothering to really delve into the subject or at least understanding the situation.
Your opinions are essentially nothing more than “Phape Kutni” value in this thread.
