War is against TTP not tribal civilians. Yes, PA has to be brutal, do you have any damn idea how much hate, torture, and vicious this conflict is? How TTP have beheaded the few PA soldiers they have captured, and PA has destroyed, killed, and tortured many TTP fighters and their leaders, brothers, and sons.

You don't have the heart, it's fine only the soldier's inner resolve matters.

Like RazPak was saying if we fight TTP full on then tribals will get mad with us, and Pakistan doesnt have resources and too much corruption to educate the whole FATA region...

Terrorism is like cancer one part is infected and becomes a headache for the whole body eventually you have to kill it by hurting the part of the body that is infected or just simply die...
what i propose is making all of FATA sharia state and leaving them to their own good... make FATA a buffer area between Pakistan and Afghanistan border.. Its better for everyone

In this war against militants, Pakistan need to define a procedure of action. TTP and mind like organizations are like cockroaches. If you attack one place they will spread into different directions. To finish them a Proper Procedure need to be started.

1) Start talking with these militants, and buy more time... or make then laying down.
2) Start a campaign/awareness exercise, mobilize "Mullahs" to spread the "Real" Islam, and defeat this TTP ideology. For this they might had to inspect Pakistani Constitution again with the eye of Shariah, and ask Islamic scholars what you find "unislamic" in constitution. And get compliance within 2 months.. Without this TTP ideology can't be defeated. Pakistan might need to bring well known scholars into confidence, to make sure every Muslim accept Pakistani Constitution what so ever..
3) Improve local security situation in the city, Install CCTV Pakistan isn't that poor that they can't afford it, incase required posh and middle class location bring common people for installing these, to make sure everything is monitored, clean up militants of Big city, might require "No armor policy other than security officials" in all cities. More training, more disaster's drills for police, just to make sure that they don't stand guess in case of the episode like Islamabad. They should have clear SOPs for almost each situation. Exception should come up only.
4) mobilize ISI more and get inside news in TTP, may be some of ISI officials need to penetrate inside the TTP and get to know what going on side.
5) Madrassa need to bring under same education system as Pakistan. Make a central record system in Madrassa and government should get access to that. After getting approval from scholars on Pakistani Constitution this will be piece of cake.
6) Manless operation to be started through out Pakistan (May be drones), to make sure "No Armour" Policy is effected and intact. Mobilize youth to do more research for military may be engage all private colleges/universities to get part of "Clean up" operation. "No go" areas need to eliminated within the cities to make sure cities are intact with writ of the state.
7) Improve justice system, and bring fast pace justice.
8) Now, Government can wish to dialogue to fail, & they now can kick all militants and make sure they can't spread across.

Yup that can be one approach... start from least effected and move on to other areas. But again other province will start crying, why Punjab gets first Security?

Because they are guerrilla insurgents. By the way north waziristan is under their control and Pak army has left wazir portion of south waziristan to Taliban group led by bahawal khan, successor of maulvi nazir. In the rest of FATA army clears a region of taliban, after some time taliban regain the control of region again and army has to start yet another operation....it is continuous cycle.

To conquer/clear entire FATA in one single operation you have to pour more 1 million soldiers of army in it, after success you have to station more 1 million troops to prevent re-emergence of taliban. Do you have resources for that?.....any collateral damage in such operation will aid taliban cause.
Paramilitary forces like FC are only good against BLA.
