TTP, Mullah Fazlullah not behind Bacha Khan University attack: Khorasani

he must have read my post about justifying this attack ---- and though, holy crap we never thought of this --- they are on to us, quickly run to net cafe in XYZ town in Afghanistan and send an email :D

Oh sh*t Our Mufti fckd us up this time ........................... time we used our Islamic sense ourselves and tell Pakistanis we will never do such thing, this is not us. And to make it sound more Islamic and relevant they referred to Sharia courts too.

And most Pakistanis will believe them, in response we will light candles, make songs, flag will fly at half mast, three days mourning, annual ritual of announcing day for these murdered students and children and then back to normal PSL, then T-20 WC, Pakistan India series, metro orange, metro apple, sit ins, and blah blah blah........

By the way I am sure someone will also consider........ that how much it would cost me to hire 3 or 4 Afghan unemployed youths for simply shooting at unarmed civilians on lump sum basis .............. not much I guess INR 3 million may take care of all the expenses with retirement benefits for families of those hired youth.........

ttp trying to create confusion is all. first by claiming the attack they gave the 'f u' to the army, that we're still alive. But since the target was a civilian school this time around, they quickly denied it for they want to keep a softer image within the impressionable public. They're very sleazy.

The precise reason why the talks between India and Pakistan do not proceed. The PA and GoP are doing exactly this. As long as you give free reign to ANY group and specifically target a particular group, you go down a self defeatist route. The other groups may play along with you, but then power always corrupts. They will hit you whenever you take a step which is detrimental to their interests. For them, uneducated Pakistan is an ideal grounds to breed fundamentalists, will they permit you to go down the path of economic development which will be detrimental to their own power base? You are looking at things through a narrow prism.

I stand by my words. We will go after the Haqqanis, Hizbul Mujahideen and LeT after we have secured ourselves from more major threats. Threats like the Taliban warrant a more major response than groups that do not attack us. Its a matter of priorities. It is a duty to protect the citizenry of Pakistan before we can take action against softer militant groups.

Whose bodies? The question is very pertinent in any asymmetric war. Whose and how many? You are fighting in your own towns and cities, until and unless you take FATA and NWFP as a separate entity! Additionally, how do you differentiate with a terrorist (when he holds a gun) from a trader (same guy who now holds his money book) in a ham handed approach? Slow and painful - that is the answer. Patience - intelligence and information gathering is the key. Otherwise you end up antagonizing your population further.

Or do you mean to suggest - invade Afghanistan? You know, for us Indians, that would be a wild dream come true!
Sorry. That was the adrenaline talking. Having written a book on KPK and FATA I know the problem is multi dimensional and has many facets. The Collective responsibilities act for one is a inhumane law used by the British to harass and oppress the people of FATA. The law still exists today. Then there is injustice and inequality while the unemployment and literacy situation is grave as well. All these have contributed.

I think it is fear of an Indian and American reaction that does not permit us to go to Afghanistan. The Army knows of the problems this could open up.

You will not.

Since the early 1980's it has been a stated policy of Pakistan to engage with India in proxies as a result of conventional parity/imparity in terms of military and economic reasons (some Pakistani's say they will eat grass too, but its a non starter). Which is a directed policy towards Indian occupation (according to PDF verbatim) in Kashmir and its a completely different agenda than your internal strife and challenges visa-viz Afghanistan and TTP.

So Kashmir and TTP are two different prospects where one is a threat to existence and other is an outcome of vindictive attitude powered by ego. Even though you will manage to curb down the menace caused by your internal affairs, your external policy towards India will always remain the same. Heck, we all Indians are no strangers of your grand designs of intensified operations you will execute once you are free of it, and this sentiment echoes time to time in this very forum that you are writing.

So please don't stand by something that you don't intend to.

We in India well understand it.

That is the Indian version of events which you Indians have been peddling constantly to isolate Pakistan and now you have American backers. We will maintain our priorities. We Pakistanis have a stupid Pro Indian leadership but it will not remain the same way all the time.

There you got exposed and proved me right!!..

and on topic where does it say and where did I say its Indian version and of events!? Its your version only. Yes true that this version has got Indian and US backing as its a stated version of "Pakistani military establishment". I am glad that the civil counterpart of Pakistan has grown sensible in time and has come close to realisation of hard facts and its not something great that GoP has done, as its well mixture with geopolitical factors and your economic condition that has put tremendous pressure on you to pursue such a path but a good path nonetheless.

So my suggestion to you is decide what you want to do.
