Yes , I am trying to know about Turkey's defence production . But I am unable to know why turkey is dependent on US for their fighter plane or Air defence systems . Once super power is why not as advanced USA , Russia or Uk . I know about your TFX program , Drone technology , Naval Ship production , tanks and missile production . But why your T-129 is not completely indigenous ? Why Turkey can't produce state of the art technology Air defence or fighter plane . You didn't come none of my point . I said , once Turkey was a super power and not Turkey is . Even in 1815 they beat the combined force of British and Russia . They ruled a huge part of Europe . They won the battle of Nicopolis against combined force of Europe . They were the unparallel super power .
It is industrial revolution of Europe which Turkey couldn't catch up . So they leg behind the race . Before few decades , Turkey was not moving the right way . Technological and scientific achievement , number of Universities bumped in recent times . Before that a little achievement was done . Let it go 4th or 5th generation , where is Turkey's 1st , 2nd or 3rd generation war plane . Turkey used war plane in first WW ?

Yes and thanks , that was my point . I am not dark at all about Erdogans Turkey . He is my favourite leader . My point is , Why didn't Turkey developed their weapons industry before Erdogan . Once super power Turkey was dependent on western arms supply . Now Erdogan leading Turkey towards the right way . If before Erdogan Turkey developed their weapons industry , they would be equivalent to Russia, America , UK or France . Turkey didn't produce 1st or 2nd or 3rd generation war planes . Now it is a good move to produce 5th gen. TFX program .

Here is list of 100 planes used by Turkey . Since 1909 turkey is using war planes . All of these were foreign origin . Only after 2000 they planned to produce their own planes .
