Sanctions can actually work they can make the Iranian allied groups in Iraq so unpopular that Iraqis will throw them themselves out. Iraq is full of People on both sides who want both Iran and US to leave so they can rule their country on their own terms.

Sanctions against Iraq in 1990s were brutal and inhumane but they did the work done Saddam became so unpopular that when US came people cheered and celebrated all over Iraq.

It is not completely impossible. We have been under US sanctions for 4 decades and we're still progressing in science and technology better than many countries who import the stuff they need from the US.
We do use US products like computer applications and other stuff, but you can always use pirated stuff when it comes to software. I have the complete Adobe CC programs and I regularly update them without paying a penny to the US. The same goes to Windows and Microsoft Office or nearly any other software I need. Russians do the same.

Then why does Iran beg for sanctions to be lifted? If you can live under sanctions so great, you should not beg for sanctions relief. You’re being hypocritical by saying you can survive without America the at the same time beg for sanctions relief.

Do you have access to the latest TV brands from Sony, Panasonic, LG, Samsung?

Do you have access to Apple phones?

What about access to the latest medical equipments and medicine?
