this is not based on real history, It is a complete fantasy and this imaginary world was created by a group of online writer around ten years ago and more and more ppl joined in to develop it. Then they kind of splitted and started their own writing based on it and this story is one of them. (Personally I think is the best, at least the drama is)
well, basicaly almost all Chinese history drama kind of like Game of throne. but this Drama so far have the best Cinematography.
and what i like about Chinese Drama is the ending unpredictable.
Sometimes Bad ending is a great ending.
