Don't think so. You can check with someone who travelled recently. There are many people who travel. There should be a process but don't think you have yo go to Police Stn. daily. Bdw once you come, nobody will be able to distinguish whether u are Indian or Pakistani unless u say. And bdw if people get to know u are from Pakistan then definitely they'll become more hospitable to u, so there will be nothing like Nightmare as you are saying.

That "shithole" is richer than Pakistan is and is currently making more advances than Pakistan. Don't be rude.

There are many people on both sides of the border that need to cross the border for various reasons, whether they be for vacations, tourism, religion, and in some cases, even family.

I think they will be more safe in India than pakistan. There is lot of violence and blasts in Pakistan now a days !

What's special is that travel is still going on between the two countries, in previous incidents the borders were closed and civilians were not allowed to cross them.

Of course, let's just hope 10 guys don't mysteriously appear in a boat and start spraying bullets. Or bomb blasts at a bakery. Or terrorist attacks in your capitals parliament. Or those Shiv Sena or Bajrang Dal nutcases going on the rampage. Or Indian Mujahideen blowing 5hit up. Or Naxals blowing up schools, railtracks and killing 80 paramilitary in one go. And let's hope no innocent female visitors are raped.

Why risk such eventualities and still travel to India? Take your assorted actors, musicians, artists, athletes, sick kids etc., someplace else where their false sense of entitlement is better appreciated. Nobody in India would lose any sleep over it.
