MULTAN, Pakistan (AFP) - A bomb blast in a passenger train killed at least three people and wounded 20 others on Friday in central Pakistan, officials said.
The bombing took place in the central town of Rajanpur, some 200 kilometres south of Multan in Punjab province.
"At least three people were killed and 20 others were wounded when a bomb exploded in one of the compartments of (the) Khushhal Khan Khattak express," senior police official Zahid Mehmood Gondal told AFP.
Eight train wagons fell from the track which was going from the troubled northwestern city of Peshawar to Karachi, he added.
