Nah capabilities wise Type 52 is better than Type-55 for Pakistan, Type 55 is actually a cruiser termed as destroyer, we are not going deep into Indian ocean to check IN

Do not be mistaken by fact zumalt will be better than 055 destroyer. Zumalt was cancel after only 3 unit are build and USN decide to go for more AB flight III destroyer becos it's capabilities are subpar. Zumalt besides being more stealthy than 055, it's sensor, C3 weapon capacity and are very limited.

055 are already using dual band S/X AESA radar while Zumalt still stuck with single band AESA. 112 big Silo VLS compare to Zumalt 20 MK-57 silo VLS only.

The 2 main gun are good for shore bombardment but anti-air capabilities will be even inferior compare to MK45 gun.

055 retains the hard kill of CWIS and 130mm gun which offer both good anti surface and anti air capabilities.

overhyped. first of all this was so expensive that they cancelled any further expansion plan, second the design is not good at all for rough seas... china should just keep pumping out ships they currently make.

Y-20 is what PAF is favoring to acquire in good numbers.

Type-55 is something PN might think about acquiring after the acquisition of Type-54AP Frigates from China.

Pakistan Military is happy with the quality equipment of China.

highly doubt pakistan is even thinking about the 055. its literally a billion a ship, and thats PLAN costs, export will certainly be more. it capabilities are way beyond what pakistan needs, its just not good value for the job that needs to be done.

That article source really is talking about 054A not 052C or even 052D and definitely not talking about 055. Four ships so it is the four 054A to deliver after a few years. Four 055 will make Pakistan navy firepower increase 100% maybe more. Also will be more expensive.

And this their is classified tech, not every weapons of China is sale for Pakistan, some of these are highly classified and China can't export type 55 to Pakistan
