Prove it asteroid is tumbling? What's your source of this claim?
dude.... you need to read literature papers.... since you have so much time to waste - research it yourself..

if you are too lazy.... watch Nova - there was an entire 1 hr episode on this.

How about planets rotate at an astonishing rate? Yes mr genius, Earth rotates. Bet you didn't know that. What's the challenge of landing on a fast rotating planet? How about that?

So what if asteroid tumbles when you land on it? What's your point?

Dude... you clearly dont know I am an amateur astronomer.

tsk tsk... such pettiness.

Japan, EU, Russia don't have technology to land on Mars. EU and Russia tried that with Beagle 2 and Exomars and failed. It's far harder to land on a fast rotating planet than it is to land on a fast tumbling asteroid. Simple physics.

Simple physics if you are landing on a huge object not a tiny object.

man you need to go an attend a robotic program or astronomy course.

this is just speculative. Have you checked the MTBF of the engines? Improve that first then let us talk.

Talk is cheap but actual knowledge is very difficult

Where's the F-22 on this list? If it were on sale, that is.

Planets are Big asteroids are extremely small as compared to planets use your brain if you have

You remain clueless of the challenges of landing a probe on a tumbling asteroid.

He is half right as it depends on the location of the asteroid in relation to the Earth.

If it is far closer to the Earth than say Mars, then the reduced distance can sometimes more than make up for the fact that the asteroid is tumbling.

First of all its production stoped years ago secondly its not for sale and no sale price ever revealed.
