our batting line is always a failure for last one decade now in all type of ranking we are number one in reverse order they should rewamp the team bring new talent give them a chance to play currently players always played enough really if they give me that much chances i will score much better than them

Age of learning is when player is 12-15 years old , that is the time when a player's technique can be fixed. After that age the flaws in technique become permanent and hard to change

Bangladesh team was a team put together 7 years ago and now they have grown playing together as a group for last 7-6 years and they are all young players.

Compared to that Pakistan has no player in 20-23 Age group who brings Youth and energy and freshness apart from Amir who is trying to make up for lost time now

Kahan , Pakistan capatin like Javed Miandad or Imran Khan , and now our present day captain performance is zero , but wants to remain as captain


How can this Khurram Manzor guy went from scoring centuries vs Australia to a Joke in T20
he was taunting Australians after the century

if anything , its PCB's responsibility that having Talent like Nasir Jamshed / Khuram Manzor / Shahzad and many others they cannot maintain their level of play

Salman Butt and the other bowler guy should not be returned they have no place in cricket

If bringing in Salman Butt is no issue then what about M. Asif... he has also served his punishment (I believe) and use to be an excellent bowler?

We also haven't recovered from the loss of Saeed Ajmal (use to be our strike bowler before he changed his bowling action), Hafeez (when he used to bowl + bat since if he gets out cheaply then he usually take wickets), and Yasir Shah. For some reason it seems there is some kind of secret conspiracy always being hatched against Pakistani top performer/talent somewhere...and executioner are so disciplined about it.

Honestly speaking I don't see much scope and options in Pakistani batting....at best existing ones will have to improve and play. Also pathetic fielding is a big negative too. Bowling is satisfactory though.

I accept ur feelings. But problems bigger than Butt are running inside PCB. Honestly cant Pakistan produce 8-9 batsmans in a 19 crore population? Anwar, Miandad, Razzaq, Inzi, Yousuf, Youhana, Hameed, Misbah were all talented players.
I feel something rot inside PCB. Either influences buys its way in or corruption. There has to better players than Butt in Pakistan.

Who hasn't fixed matches ? Even Wasim Akram, Moin Khan, Ijaz Ahmed, and Waqar Younus have done it. Former Attorney General, Malik Qayyum had admitted they have evidence to prove they were guilty but at the end of the day they let them walk free because of 'fame' and 'talent' and his own 'soft corner'

We even have stories of guys like Shoaib Akhtar beating people up, clubbing and smoking weed the night before the game and the legend, Imran Khan and Sarfraz Nawaz having affairs while on the job. The list goes on and on of the lack of discipline.

Salman Butt is an excellent cricketer, great skills. great records, etc. Its just not fair to continue to bash him when unlike others, he has served punishment ; ban, jail, and rehab time. If you can bring Mohammad Amir back it would be unfair to not bring this guy. Yes he was the captain, but a great one. Pakistan was a winning team. I would rather give him the money to perform then give Afridi for loosing us every night and coming on commercials fooling people how good he is.

Also there is other guy naseer jamshed, i only watched him in vs india matches, and he was pretty good.
Why isn't he played anymore ?

There are many good batsmen who have not received opportunities in the national side nor in the PSL

Salman Butt is arguably the best opening batsmen since Saeed Anwar left us.

Nasir Jamshed can be really good in ODIs and yes he had amazing innings against India but he needs to be consistent and improve fitness. To do that the solution is not to kick him out but to bring the best mentors and coaches to achieve his potential.

* These two have played together in the opening before and they fit together really well. Its a huge upgrade over Mohammad Hafeez.

Haris Sohail is one I really think is going to turn out very good. In domestic T20s, he has been helping Sialkot Stalions win championships and in few matches he played with national side, he was a consistent performer with bat and field.

Sohaib Maqsood, a solid, consistant performer and his skills are like Inzammam

Fawad Alam has one of the highest ODI averages. Hasn't been on the team since 2009.

* These three can play in the middle order and replace players like Asad Shafiq, Sharjeel Khan, Khurram Manzoor, who have been tried like gazillion times.

We don't need him back in the squad just like we didn't need Amir back in the squad regardless of his impressive performances upon return. Amir's case is little soft due to his age factor when he did all that but Butt was mature enough to be held responsible for his crime... His weight of crime increases when you know that he was captaining the side in that match and was already hailed from a rich family who didn't need so much money all of a sudden unlike Asif/Amir's poor background.

I would not have such players in the team who has tarnished the image of Pakistan and find better talent from rest of the 190 million population
