Bangladesh should work on a deal with Myanmar. We accept all the Rohingyas and in response we get some of their land. I don't know why Bangladesh is not playing a more cynical game. I love it when I get responses like this. Hey, you sound quite young so you probably wouldn't know but did you know that if Japan and the Axis won the war, Bangladesh would have been gifted to the Restored Burmese Empire? I wonder what that would have done for your national pride?



The thing that pleases me most about the international community is that while the media are taking the populist anti-Myanmar stance, world leaders and organisations themselves have been quietly praising Myanmar and quietly asking Bangladesh to open its borders. Playing devil's advocate for a minute, it could be because everyone realises that no country would wish to shelter muslim outsiders. I don't know. There seemed to be no love from the international community when Thailand left them to die on the seas. That's why I go back to my point that I truly sypathise with their plight.

I'm sure if you relent on the Rohingyas, the Burmese will make it worth your while.

Now, tell us something what you know about the WWII events concerning Burma under Japanese military occupation, Indian freedom fighters under the control of Netaji and why Japan was supporting him. It will be very educational for us.

Well, now we're arguing over things that didn't happen but you're talking fantasy. I'm basing this on what I read at the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo. Parts of what is now Myanmar would have been given to the Kingdom of Thailand and what is now Bangladesh and Assam would have been given to the Restored Burmese Empire. India would have been roughly India now minus Assam and everyone would have been Japanese puppets.

Ofcourse, none of this matters as the Japs lost the war. I'm just illustrating the point that you shouldn't beat your chest too proudly at us.

Why to be a part Japanese vassal? Why do not you try to take over Bangladesh, now? It will be an easy walk over, if i am allowed to borrow words from Zabanya.
