It's like there are two Indias, each exclusive to the other. First India is concerning when they will become SP, but the 2nd India is concerning where their next meal will come from. 90% of Indians don't know what a retirement plan is, so the 2nd India seems to be much bigger in terms of population.
It is an amazing feat that the big chunk is unaware of their conditions and demand almost nothing. That's corrupt politicians' lost Atlantis.
India is an excellent case study in terms of academic quest, that's by itself is a novel contribution to the development of political science, but, I guess the bigger chunk has no idea there is whole life worth is to serve as a test object for the larger academic community.
I, personally, benefit a lot. In their scientific quest, scientists can become a little callous to deplorable human conditions (self-criticism).
